World New Map? More Like The Same Map But Now Currupted(like The Dungeons).

so i really want to explore the corrupted world we see when we go to the corrupted versions of dungeons.

i would like to know if it is happening (if not i would like to tell you why it should).

cause... say there was an item that was gotten from all current/future c-dungs being completed at least once and then we as players could enter that failed version of the normal map, just now corrupted, for what unique items it could have, enemies to fight (these would most likely be call backs like the c-dungs).

idk how it would fit into the lore, like maybe if it was a parallel universe to learn from or bad future accessed through the temple of time.

 

Unfortunately, the temple of time is already used in (in my opinion an extremely underwhelming manner) in the Ice barrows quest, so it most likely won't be used for anything else (not impossible though). Problem with your suggestion though is its on way too large a scale. The world map is really huge you know? Even if you just did Wynn, it would still be a gigantic commitment. While I definitely think exploring the corrupted Wynn would be super cool, I don't think it's something that can be plausibly done in the foreseeable future.

 

Maybe just corrupted detlas or just ragini and detlas area with some high level mobs, too many areas would get a bit repetitive imo and I would prefer to see new areas yeah.

Jokes aside I do want to see it. They could make the next final quest be about an alternate reality where corruption wins.

OR make it a replacement for the old Nether. Like a world that's basically permanent Hunted mode.

Negatives are that the project would be massive, but they could just replace blocks with worldedit and fix some things by hand. And imo they should just do Wynn, maybe the Ocean.

 

It wouldn't be too hard in theory. You just need to throw a different item in the area where you put the staff. The code would read it as a different item and act correspondingly.
