Invisible Armor, Thanks To Netherite

?

Would you prefer invisible armor, or a new tier with netherite?

So, with the 1.16 update coming up, we will get a new tier of armor for the vanilla game. inevitably, Wynncraft will update to this setup, but what if, and hear me out, instead of using the netherite as a new armor tier, it is used to make worn armor invisible, allowing players to display their custom skins? The armor can be made nearly or entirely invisible in the resource pack, while still being worn. Maybe you could find an item out in the wild, or from a quest, that can be applied to a piece of armor to receive this effect, by transforming it into the "netherite" version while still keeping the effects and status boosts. I love the look of the armor, but I also like being able to show off my custom skin, and it also becomes hard to pick another player out in a crowd when they are all wearing armor.

If they added this, wouldn't you be required to use 1.16 to play the server though? I don't like that idea but I might be wrong about that

Inevitably, I dunno. Mojang hasn't really been doing great in the performance aspect of new MC versions, so unless they improve there it's probably not gonna happen for a while...

Wasn't there a change back in 1.13 that made it so wynncraft would have to rewrite most of it's code to get updated past 1.12

Oh look, another newbie talking about netherite armor... it's like the 12th time now?

First of all, Wynn isn't updating in the near future. Maybe not even ever. Changes to command blocks are the biggest problem, not to mention many other issues.

Second of all, if Wynn updated, why would you ASK for a netherite armor change? Wouldn't it be inevitable?

    Yeah, only problem is
    And
Though I do believe there are some automatic programs to change it from 1.12.2 to 1.15+, they are not always accurate or efficient. They would take a long time to translate all the commands, once again not to mention any errors that arise. I could see them slowly converting certain parts at a time then release it all at once, but not anytime in the near future. The team I'd say is not big enough to do this efficiently.

I'm gonna be honest, I more or less just posted this as a random idea that popped into my head, I'm trying to get past the ten post minimum to lose the restrictions on posts.
