Currently, crafted armours lose durability upon taking a hit from a mob.

I suggest that this mechanic be removed.

Because of this mechanic, crafted armours are far less effective on tank/defense oriented builds versus builds that emphasize avoiding attacks (such as an agility build or a glass cannon).

The image above shows the boots I use on my Monster mage following a battle against The Eye. On this build, I generally facetank, as taking hits is essential to maximizing my damage output via endurance.

I equipped the boots entering the boss (with max durability) and finished the boss with this amount left.

In prior experiences, these boots would 0 out in the middle of The Eye if I used them through all of EO.

Couldn't this be fixed by making the durability go down based on how much damage you take?

That way, defence and agility would be on more equal terms and tanking wouldn't be punished as heavily as it is right now, while still losing durability when getting hit (which frankly makes too much sense to remove).
