Lost Sanctuary Dungeon Lava Pit

The lava pit at the lost sanctuary dungeon isn't that good. I have a few reasons of saying this, first, the dungeon is pretty long, and it is also repetitive, blowing up doors and going through them. So, after around 25 minutes into this, I'm met with a boss stage where I have to blow up the floor. I did this, and to my surprise, when I went down it, it was filled with lava. Why put lava after a door when everywhere else it's another room after a door?

For some reason when i went back i fell through the world and died. Anyone else experiencing extreme lag in the dungeon?

It now seems like i was just unlucky and it loaded when i went the third time.

 

So whats your suggestion

 

why tf did you jump in the lava you're supposed to push the boss in

This is actually interesting. Everyone else I've ever met has instantly known what to do, but if I remember correctly, there's actually nothing telling you to do that. Maybe there is and you just missed it?

Either way, at that point in the battle, you should've realized that the boss is otherwise practically unkillable, and the lava would do it. When I did it for the first time, I just remembered a very similiar boss battle in the adventure map Herobrine's Return, and thought that this was the same thing.

In the end, there could be a notification onscreen to push Garoth in when you open the floor. That would help clear things up.

 

Idk, it was pretty clear to me, but I can see why someone would get confused. I agree that there should be a warning.
I killed the boss by just spamming arrow storm on my second attempt to see if I could.

I chose to spam it because I was way overleveled for the dungeon and thought it might be fun. A lot easier that trying not to get hit in the small arena while killing creepers.
