Should There Be Another Way To Get Gathering Tools?

Title says it all. Should there be a better way to get gathering tools besides dungeon running a bunch of times?

To put it bluntly, dungeon grinding isn't the most fun thing in Wynncraft. I mean, most dungeons aren't very fun to begin with, especially when it takes a long time to get through them, while getting little to no loot or XP mostly, but when you have to do it 6+ times to get the high-level gathering tools, it can be a total drag. More often than not, nobody is selling the tools you need on the market, so that isn't an option.

I know that this encourages you (albeit not positively) to go into the dungeons a lot more, but in my opinion, there should be a more fun, easier way to get these tools.

How about a separate currency that you can use to buy gathering tools? This gathering tool currency can be acquired differently than the dungeon currency. Maybe you can trade common or rare mob drops in the respective area for this currency? Certain mob drops will give you certain currency for certain tiers of gathering tools.

Maybe you can complete special quests from different towns that will unlock the purchasing of high-level tools for emeralds. There would be different tools and quests in every town, with the highest levels of tools being in Lutho or Ahmsord. You can only start these quests if all of your gathering professions are at a certain level or higher.

What about adding the ability to repair gathering tools with scrap or some other material? Maybe you could get this material by scrapping other, less stronger gathering tools or other things you don't need?

I hope this gets taken into consideration, because a lot of players, including me are discouraged in gathering and crafting because we have to spend hours dungeon running to get a set of better tools.

I think there should be, some dungeons are boring to do (like a few though).

On the other hand I always just get them from the marketplace so for me personally it's not an issue but I understand that it is for you and would be happy to have more ways of getting the tools, maybe you could suggest some?

 

You should get gathering coins, for completing every dungeon. So if you would, lets say, want to buy a t9 gathering tool, you wouldnt have to run gg 8 times, you could run ds 20 times. So a higher lvl dungeon would give more coins, a lower level less. I know, that doesnt sound very good. But hear me out. Sometimes, when you start a new class, you run low lvl dungeons. So this would: make early game dungeon running worth it, and also you could run higher level dungeons for lower lvl tools,, lets say i would only have to run cur 2 times to get t9 gathering tools.

 

I can only think of a few not fun dungeons, and they are all in the earlygame. Everything onwards from Underworld Crypt may not be THAT interesting, but it's not that boring either. Of course the corrupted dungeons exist, but the earlygame ones only appear for a short time there too.
I don't think there needs to be another way to get them, but decreasing the grind would be nice.
