So.. I made a post on the official wynncraft subreddit so I said to myslef why not post it here too

    My suggestion:
Have you too wanted to take your gathering tools with you but hate having them in your inventory taking up precious space? Well I have an idea for you! I hate having my inventory full of gathering tools so I came up with an idea. Since I played on wynncraft before ingredients and professions I was surprised to see all the new things and features. So my idea is something like the ingredient bag but for tools maybe you could store your tools in your horse or something. Also lets call my idea "gathering tools bag" maybe you could buy it from a merchant or do a quest to recieve it. Or maybe it could be opened up by typing a command.

Um, having more than one gathering tool of the same type (not level) in your inventory gives you a debuff in gathering (don't remember to what exactly), so this would make that feature non-existent

I know i may not have been clear. Just 4 slots 1 for each type of tool axe, pick, hoe, rod etc. You know just so ypu can have your main tools by hand when a opportunity comes and you need em without them taking space in your inventory

Given only one tier being carried at a time, that would increase carrying capacity from 23–26 (depending on how many tools you have at a time) to 27.

My post on reddit has had a bit of a discussion on my idea and we agreed on a kind of tool belt where you can put only your tools of 1 type for example it will have 4 slots for 1 type of tool only (1 axe , 1 pick etc...)

I attached an image for a better visualization of my idea

What I last said was mostly to quantify how much help the change gives. It gives 4–17% more room in the inventory (half of that if you include the Ingredient pouch), depending on how many tools the player plans on carrying (4% for one tool, 17% for four).
Not a big increase, but an increase nonetheless.

As I said... lets say you are max lvl and you have your "main" tools which are max lvl you could carry them in the "tool belt" but only 4 tools, 1 of each type so you had them by your hand. I also said that it should not interfere with your ingredients pouch. It wouldnt take up any space in there it would be its own seperate "container" that could be received from quest , bought from a merchant or could be bought as an upgrade. It would work quite simulary to the ingredient pouch you wouldnt be able to store weapons , armor , potions there it would be just for tools. So I dont think it will be that much of a change it wouldnt be "OP" it would just make things easier. I think it would bring out a better way of inventory management and making miniquests more easier to do on the spot.

Ps: Sorry if I responded wrong just typed out some of my ideas lol

I wouldn't mind the idea, personally I think we need ANOTHER bag for crafting materials, maybe the tools could slip in there.

I wouldn't have an issue with increasing the inventory space at all, what with the new materials and tools and what not

It would be cool if there was a way to scroll through the tools, and not have to open your bag.
The reason I think this should be added is in order to allow for a slightly more casual gathering cycle.
Specifically, the ability to gather random nods as you head to your destination would allow for players to slowly level professions without having to worry specifically about them.
You can already do this, but sadly with the amount of inventory it takes, its not quite worthwhile to carry around your tools.

Ye I think that would make lvl up your character + your proffesion on the way a lot more easier and make the daily quests a lot more easier to do them on the way you go on loot runs , farm exp , etc...

there is a poll so if you want to see this idea added please vote

My posts were intended just to assign numbers to the suggestion--so that we could all see how much (or how little, depending on your perspective) of an increase the suggestion would provide.

This was added to balance the instant refine and no weight limit.
They don't want people to keep harvesting forever and getting materials as long as you have tools. So yeah if you carry around multiple of the same tool, you have a 0% chance of successfully gathering a material. You will get xp though

It is reasonable, as profs would be way too easy but I still do think dura could be increased, and scrap repair cost lowered.
If you really care, you can cart along an alt full of tools or keep dropping and picking up another tool ever once in a while so it doesn't despawn. Or, if you're in a party, you and a friend that are harvesting different things nearby can carry extra tools for the other person. Very effective.
