Update To Make Bosses More Fun

    In Wynncraft, there are many major bosses that, kind of, don't stand out that much in mechanics, because of their spells, AI, and strategy to beat them being so basic. For example, Corrupter of Worlds. It's supposed to be a hard and important battle, but in the end it's just a tanky high-dmg high-speed monster running towards you with Pull and Multihit. Here are some suggestions to change certain bosses:

    1. CoW
    As I said in the text above, CoW needs a change, and in my opinion a simple unique spell or two could do it. In Wynncon they did this well and I hope to see something like that in Wynncraft itself. For spell ideas, I think the ones they did in Wynncon are fine, but to increase the suprise and ambush-like theme, one where he creates tons of minions out of the corrupted ground/walls at the same time would be good too.

    2. Amadel
    Amadel is another very important boss, and I think there are two things that should be changed about him. Firstly, all the phases should be connected to make the fight smoother and harder (When you kill Corrupted Amadel, it instantly teleports you to Shadow Amadel's arena with the dialogue etc.) Secondly, giving him an unique spell would make battle more fun again, maybe somehow connected to the 4 crystals. The first two ideas that i got for spells would be just a big instant-firing laser beam, or a randomized spell where he chooses between 4 spells representing the crystals (Heavy Flamethrower for Fire, some sort of earhquake for Desert, A mob-version of Uproot for Grass and for the Twain mansion crystal either a spell that instantly takes a certain % of your hp out to represent the death theme, or something like a very heavy slowness).

    3. Naragath
    A very hated boss, but I think it should be upgraded to make it fun. The first thing that comes to mind is just giving him a blinding spell that sends a black aura, blinding players for 15 seconds. The second idea is that you would delete the amulet grinding part, and combine it to the boss (Get 3-5 amulets, give them to the guy and Naragath is damageable for 30 seconds or something like that)

    4. Bob (Warrior Phase)
    The recent update they made to Bob was really good, but there is still one thing that should be changed. The final phase, where he is a Warrior is literally the Assassin phase without Vanish and with +10k HP. That's a big dissapointment. Warrior is supposed to be Bob's most powerful class, and in the battle it's just an expansion of sorts to the Assassin phase. Replace his multihit with a version of Bash for enemies, and maybe add a version of War Cry or Uppercut.

    5. Multiple smaller boss changes
    There are also many other bosses that should be harder or more interesting by adding small updates like the unique spells. Here are some:
    Cluckles - Give more HP
    Arakadicus - Give more HP or make the nests open faster/add a third nest
    Death - Give an unique spell (Maybe something that completely stuns you, or a spell that creates a magic cage that traps you (being still dodgeable ofc))
    Redbeard - Make the fight not last so long, decrease his HP but increase his damage
    Corrupted Charon - Same as Redbeard, its just annoying seeing Graken chase him around the room and still having him to deal a lot of damage to Charon
    The Hive Bosses - Need a boss theme (really doesn't fit with the other stuff, but i decided to put this here)
    The Mummy - Make him more of a threat, he has an LI boss based off of him, maybe add a very heavy slowing spell (like with the Mummy's scrolls), or something where the scrolls surround and choke you and a small increase in damage

    for the first 2 bosses you mentioned, I feel like just throwing a few "unique" spells at them wouldn't do them that much justice. to make a boss fight more fun, giving them unique gimmicks which have the player reassess how they play is a good way to start. for example, CoW is supposed to be insanely fast paced and seems to catch the player off guard, almost as an ambush; rather than just giving him a "simple unique spell," finding a mechanic that supplements that idea would work better. the same goes for amadel, death and nagarath, what would giving nagarath a blinding spell do to improve the fight without changing anything else? perhaps instead the fight could revolve around fighting him in the darkness, having other unique mechanics to supplement this.

    I also definitely agree the hive bosses need a unique theme, fighting them feels very underwhelming right now considering all that plays is usually the canyon of the lost theme

    I've some remarks on this suggestion, as I think Ive some dungeon boss experience I feel like I can be a help or not idk...

    Arakadicus is at low level pretty challanging if done alone. If you don't know the minion keep spawning they will swarm you and kill you, for the second dungeon boss, having like 2200 HP is pretty much soo doing this dungeon on level should be a challenge on its own, I did it 100 times on a lvl 100 class soo I didn't have any problems but on a lowlvl class, such as my warrior, it was rlly challenging soo this doesn't need changes.

    On to red beard, this boss is absolutely fine as it is rn, around 700k should take 6 to 9 cannonballs to kill, or if a high lvl some good spell cycling. This boss should not, and I state, should not get a damage buff, even with a 104 arhcer with 10k HP one full shot of his shotgun attack brought me down too 4k HP. I'm 40 levels above the dungeon and it can 2 hit me. IF you buffed his attack even more it would one shot any player at level who isn't using a TANKY build or assassin to be invisible. And even they, if they tank to much or miss a timed vanish will die.

    Onto your Corrupted Charon, the boss itself is fine, yes its annoying but it's the mechanic of the boss fight to let geraken kill him. Your job is to knock him into graken soo he sticks onto him and kills him.

    On the other bosses, with 1 to 4 I agree, cluckes is already a lame boss soo extra HP doesn't rlly matter imo, and the mummy Suggestion is rlly good in my opinion.

    I disagree. I somewhat recently did Infested Pit on my shaman at level and it was a joke. Could depend on the class, but it wasn't hard in the slightest.

    As I said, it may depend on the class. On the topic of "giving arguments" I wouldn't say that "there are minions and they'll kill you" is a particularly strong argument. If you want to say my opinion is invalid I could just as easily tell you to "git gud".

    K then, in my opinion Arakadicus is really easy because you can just block the minion nests and concentrate on the boss itself. Maybe have the nests open faster and add a third one?

    Does Redbeard do that much damage? I didn't ever encounter that, and keep in mind Archer's 60% base defense.

    Got nothing more to say on Corrupted Charon, it isn't hard, just takes too long.

    And for Cluckles, I think he needs to be more important, you need him for Reincarnation, Bob owned him, but the battle is just way too lame. Yeah, the other 2 aren't great either, but this is in a quest.

    Agree om cluckes and ara. Keep in mind, i did readbeard at 104, at level extra damage will kill at level players

    1. CoW is pretty alright.
    2. I agree that the stages should link up, but imo the fight is pretty much fine as-is aside from that.
    3. "should be made more fun" "blind for 15 seconds" :thonk:
    4. Agree, Warrior phase Bob should be spamming Meteor and Explosion or something.
    5. Cluckles is a meme anyway doesn't need changes. Arakadicus and the Mummy are already tough enough for first-time players. Death, idk. Redbeard's health is fine, it's just the cannonballs are ancient mechanics so they can just get killed before they even do any damage - they need to be fixed. Redbeard already does a ton of damage, considering you literally have to stand in place and let him hit you to complete the fight. Corrupted Charon could probably do with less health, or Graken doing more damage. Hive Bosses are fine (except Psychomancer is OP).

    I honestly feel like redbeard should be changed like @Emogla3 proposed. 2/3 times the cannonballs die from redbeard’s shotgun before they even reach him. I’d rather have the shotgun do more damage and the boss itself have less health.

    You just got hit so hard cause you were most likely using an air build and got oofed by rng, not to mention that you walked into the shotgun fire with an archer.

    Oh btw, arakadicus is fine as a warrior. I did it at level 14, no problem.

    other than that you make pretty good points, just wanted to mostly rant about redbeard

    Don't say I walked into it, I did 10 runs the other day, 4 were flawless boss fights and once I got pulled in and shot gunned, nothing to do about...

    Eh, true.

    You can still tell when the boss is about to pull spell so I feel like its still human error.

    Not to mention you said most other runs you did flawlessly/near flawlessly which implies the bosses difficulty should be increased slightly and I feel like increasing its damage/giving it more different attacks is a good way to do it.
