    the idea: grind mobs, but instead of giving more xp and dropping no loot, they give no xp and drop more loot compared to normal mobs. these mobs would be in specific locations, just like xp grind mobs, and would be marked with a blue star

    why this is a good idea: not everybody likes lootrunning and personally, i believe there should be an alternative to lootrunning that's actually more or less efficient, unlike normal mob grinding. this also gives players an higher-risk option to get items and actually be able to make money.

    aside from acting as just another option to farm gear, this allows another thing i feel as though could be helpful for the game--loot grind mob exclusives

    loot grind mob exclusives: at the moment, there are certain types of items that don't currently have a competitive option in builds such as an endgame pure earth dagger, and with the current trielemental archetype changes being made, certain archetypes tend to lack support compared to the others in terms of the options they have. tfa and etw are examples of this, and in an even more general scale, items pertaining to these items that actually tend to focus on a single element are lacking as well, ex: water focused options in etw and air focused options in ewa

    to take it a step further, there's also single-element items that lack options. for example, the only competitive air spell damage chestplate is arguably conduit of spirit, which is quite difficult to use because of its high req, therefore making it an unideal option in most cases

    long story short: with loot grind mob exclusives, these holes in item options could be filled up and add more variety to the current endgame meta

    I like the idea of mob-exclusive items, just not the loot grind mobs as much

    Love the idea of loot mobs as that is so much more fun than loot running. Not a fan of the exclusive items though because knowing the wynn team the item would be way to rare.

    Well a specific mob that drop specific item (gear) does sounds good, here’s my idea
    Mob spawns in wave, the mini boss one with star will have guaranteed item drop (unique-fabled maybe?) and wave spawn over X time so ppl don’t abuse totem and grind that too much, similar to countdown timer in csst dungeon (survive phase maybe?), we could make it have like 5 mins Cooldown with plate to start the grind spot for item.

    We aren't, cause Amadel had mobs that you could instakill and AFK farm against. He's talkin about grind-spot-mob strength mobs, which you wouldn't be able to, as well as the grind mobs in question having a very high natural loot multiplier instead of a normal-or-zero multiplier. Since they're two completely different situations and it's not correct to compare them, we won't talk about it.
