    Major IDs are a great step forward for Wynncraft in that they introduce completely new ways to play the game through even the slightest changes that modify how playstyles are affected by the items that the player decides to use. I thought I would compile a list of ideas for new major identifications that I had and see what others think about them, please leave your thoughts below! :smile:

    + Swiftstep [Stratiformis]
    • Allows the user to automatically climb up and down 1 block tall ledges without the need to jump
    • Although being one of the best bows in the game having a quality of life identification like this would make its niche use even more relevant which is the ability to move very quickly and even more effectively with this ability.
    + Potency [Lament]
    • Heal/Remedy spell recovers mana instead of health
    • Lament is in dire need of an overhaul in my opinion and something like this would be interesting to see and how it affects its combat style for the mage class in its entirety.
    + Roots [Gaia]
    • Has a 30% chance to apply a slowness effect to a foe when using a melee attack
    • Enhances the abilities of what Gaia’s playstyle is meant to be more like and gives the user an opportunity to get even more up close and personal with the enemy.

    Pretty cool ideas but Lament... It has -life steal, not being able to heal HP would kill it.

    just turn on the autojump feature that has existed since like 1.10

    The whole point behind that idea was to remove the slight delay that the player gets when jumping so the walk speed is consistent when changing vertical height.

    Thats true, also why I mentioned Lament needs an overhaul in general but if that were the case then health would definitely be an issue.

    Yep or just countering LS entirely with armor but if that ID was available and recovering health does become more difficult as a mage then having LS removed entirely from the item would be ideal.

    Lament is fine, the problems come from a combination of Mage problems in general and item pool limitations.

    I agree with all of them except Lament, though a major ID that changes heal into some sort of an offensive spell could work on a new weapon entirely. Just not on Lament.

    So you spend mana to gain mana? You shlould make some downside to that

    ❉ Water Damage: 245-255

    20 Intelligence
    14%–59% ❉ Water Damage
    -35%–-65% 1st Spell Cost (Heal)
    +Potency: Heal regenerates mana instead of health

    I think Potency would be better if it was like Heal can have a chance to regenerate mana as well as hp. Cus if lament cant heal hp, itd be lame

    Well, that's what the positive Life Steal would be for. It would basically be a less HP-regeneration-heavy wand than most wands. I'm not entirely sure I disagree with you, though. Perhaps it could be:
    +Potency: Heal regenerates mana as well as health, but health rejuvenation is halved
