    I already made my case, thats why I didn't state it. His whole arguement didn't attempt to give any negatives for tanking, instead it assumed tanking was worse, and proceded to tell me why boreal was bad with that assumption.

    I qouted that specifcally, becuase it is the assumption I'm fighting against.
    He makes quite a few assumptions,
    Like up Regan being useless, and tanking is bad.
    Both of which he didn't attempt to expand apon, or explain.

    Now allow me to state this again, tanking allows you to beat every challenge in the game, but you get ease of use, and less drastic punishment for mistakes in trade off of time.

    I know this is really pedantic and you probably just wrote this offhand, but because I don't want this sort of misinformation to spread - spell multipliers are not the reason why raw spell tends to be stronger on certain classes. The reason is because Mage's baseline weapon damages are lower - of course, this can vary weapon to weapon. Whether meteor has a 100% multiplier or a 1000% multiplier, raw spell won't get any more or less effective on mage. For more details see here.

    They're both contributing factors. But yeah, that's the main thing, thanks.

    I wouldn't call it an assumption, from experience, but you're right in the last thing you stated. Playing tank is a good way to make things easier, if necessary, and you can afford the increased time taken. For the majority of people that's not necessary and isn't optimal. The forums and endgame community is largely focused around optimizing the game as there isn't much else to do right now and, sadly, tanking is fairly far from that.

    Boreal is underrated because hpr abuse is underrated

    Ok I made a few builds involving Mythic Boots I like, they might not be the best build but they are decent.
    However, although it is not as rewarding to have an immortal build, it is quite possible to make one.

    1) Crusade Stabaton, Max HP Build meant to Prevent you from ever being 1 shot
    Defense: 150; x0.192, 19.2% Damage Taken
    Agility: 94; x0.375, 37.5% Chance to get Damaged
    Warrior Reductions: 80%(Base)*83.3%(WS) & 50%(Charge); 66.7%/33.3% Damage Taken
    Health: 38925 Base; 304,101/608,202 Damage to 1 Shot; 810,937/1,621,874 Effective Health Total
    Regen/sec: 374.9 Base; 7810.4 Effective Regen/sec

    Pros:
    -can only be one shot by something dealing over 300k Damage
    -Regens an average Endgame Players Melee DPS
    -Damage is Fair
    Cons:
    -Double Mythic
    -Negative Life Steal
    -Minor Negative Defenses
    Notes:
    Really it can probably handle getting hit by The Eye's Wretch Attack and still not be in much danger from the mobs.
    It has some damage with 40 SP you can take away from the tankyness and put into getting more damage.
    2) Boreal, Max Def & Agil / Regen Build meant to NEVER DIE...
    Defense: 150; x0.192, 19.2% Damage Taken
    Agility: 149; x0.195, 19.5% Chance to get Damaged
    Warrior Reductions: 80%(Base)*83.3%(WS) & 50%(Charge); 66.7%/33.3% Damage Taken
    Health: 30280 Base; 236,562/473,124 Damage to 1 Shot; 1,213,141/2,426,282 Effective Health Total
    Regen/sec: 902.4 Base; 7810.4 Effective Regen/sec

    Pros:
    -can only be one shot by something dealing over 236k Damage
    -Regens a Tier Staking Players Melee DPS comfortably, 3% regen/sec
    -Good Walk Speed
    -Good Mana Regen
    Cons:
    -Bad Damage
    -Double Mythic
    -Negative Life Steal
    -Negative Defenses
    Notes:
    Not meant to be used alone, you can kind of draw aggro because of Guardian's Major ID
    It easily handle getting hit by The Eye's Wretch Attack and still prevent Allied Players from Dying.
    It is really a symbiotic build for the Major ID on Guardian(Depending on how it works).
    * If it directly takes the damage a player near you and subtracts that damage from your health,
    bypassing all damage reduction, then nothing But AoR could handle that level of damage... even then you may runout of health to give...
    3) Dawnbreak, Saitama(Vanish/Quake/SS) Build meant to cause Earthquakes...
    Defense: 75; x0.461, 46.1% Damage Taken
    Health: 17822 Base; 38,659 Damage to 1 Shot; 38,659 Effective Health Total
    Regen/sec: -32.2 Base; -69.8 Effective Regen/sec
    LS/mob/sec: 278.75 Base, 561 Effective LS/mob/sec
    Damage Bonus: x4.15(Quake)*1.8(Vanish); x7.47 Damage Bonus
    Melee Damage/hit: 25,895/46,611 Base, 107,464/193,435 Quake

    Pros:
    -can one shot some bosses and all mobs dealing almost 200k Damage
    -Regens a Tier Staking Players Melee DPS comfortably, 3% regen/sec
    -Good HP
    -Good Life/Mana Steal
    Cons:
    -Bad Mana Cost
    -Negative Defenses
    Notes:
    Meant to Obliterate enemies with a Quake that can bring even the mightiest foes to their knees.
    It is satisfying being able to charge up, what is basically an ultimate attack, and then wack them with it.

    @JaydonTheWarrior does Boreal (and by extension, hpr-based tank builds) work on classes outside Warrior? I use a semi-tank WFA Archer that works alright normally but does run into trouble versus bosses and SE stuff.

    I've tested my build and variations of it on other classes and found it works quite well on assassin if you use a crafted dagger for more damage. Archer I do find full damage agility to be better however it does by all means work. On my build I use hpr armor and then damage rings/bracelet + strobe light with a crafted spear for additional Mana Regen and damage.
    And for the sake of sanity I did not try it on mage cause...it's mage just heal.

    Edit: my shaman is level 98 once I reach 101 I'll test it out

    Now that I have some time:

    - Revenant is pretty neat. It feels nice in its use cases. Nerf to health is appreciated.
    - Warchief getting thunder weighting but no easy DStatic Necklace access anymore, I guess that is a thing. Warchief has had a pretty nice position for a while now, although I do wish it had a little more spell utility.
    - Stardew exists. It's kind of bland imo.
    - Dawnbreak is neat, even if I'm annoyed by it being offensively-oriented with a defensive sp combination.
    - Moontower is cool, being both an enabler and an insult at the same time lol. I do wish it had a little more use in tri-element combos though, -20 feels a little bit much.
    - Slayer is easily my favorite design of any of the mythic boots. I feel like it has pretty good power in ETA and TFA now, but I do wish it was more usable in TWA - the spell cost balances out the high reqs but it doesn't have any other benefit and still has the sizable hpr penalty that can't really be worked around in TWA.
    - Boreal would be cool if hpr wasn't so bad.
    - Galleon's tier penalty is redundant and just hampers its utility for no reason. Especially with fast hybrid coming into focus, removing the tier penalty would be useful.
    - Resurgence is pretty cool - high mana is a neat gimmick to have, and the Int bonus has some interesting applications. (and the health regen exists I guess)
    - Crabs is less garbage now I guess.

    I agree with all of this but Boreal <3
    Also yeah even tho stardew is a kinda bland item I'd say its really powerful. Also I personally think Galleon should keep its -tier and get a spell % id as well given that w/e is often spell as well as hybrid (and if you build pure spell ex nihilo is just better)

    The problem I mention with Galleon is that it has no melee benefits right now. Removing the tier isn't really going to change its spell benefits but would prevent it from crippling fast hybrid.
