Hello. I am back with more item suggestions, but this time.

These boots are said to have been worn by a great warrior of the Gavellian army. Once, when Ahmsord was under attack by powerful creatures, the warrior ran the distance to Cinfras to request reinforcements. He died soon after, but he will always be remembered by the citizens of Ahmsord.

So, Im thinking about moving all these ideas into a new better organized thread. Keep an eye out for if I do.

 

i feel like total negation of fire damage is a bit too strong without more debuffs
maybe add negative health or health regeneration?

 

Add -WS

 

Marathon and Gliders are cool ideas, I'm pretty sure we'll see something like marathon from the item team in the future.

The rest... Don't really stand out. Immunity to fire damage gives me old rainbow def flashbacks. Flash-freeze looks like it has no real downsides.

Lightning rod also isn't creative, following the theme of low risk items. Maybe if it had uppercut cost id for its theme?

Finally, brainstorm. What sets this apart from the other spell helmets? Again, basically no downsides.



TL;DR: holy heck give your items some weaknesses

 

Tfw the "mighty time god" is a weak level 70 optional boss in the middle of nowhere

 

clock set
you probably wouldn't know because no one ever fights him

 

not a quest, per se, but a bland exploration of gavel
there are 8 clocks scattered in settlements, like shiar, lexdale, cinfras, etc
once you get them you can go to the clock place and use them as tokens to access fights to give you tokens for clock set

as for the weapon, a name like Patricide could work, or something about Ouranos

 

While some of these ideas are cool I'm not convinced any of these items are really needed in game as balance changes would kind of add these items in
Marathon seems cool Ill give you that and I like the idea of sprint/ws boots
Why would we need lightning rod now that quinque has been buffed to actually be good. And if you don't like the drawbacks of quinque you can use Wick
Flameweaver seems really cool just because of the major id. That id seems awsome (and in my opinion should be put on the chestplate leo) but the item itself is very bland and based on this design probably would not be that great.
Gliders is meh I mean just throw a +1 jump on steamjet instead in my opinion cause Marathon to me is a cooler item idea.
Why would we need kronos Sickle when Harwol exists?
Fellstorm is just closure but probably would have the damage to be good. I actually like the idea of this bow alot but I think it belongs on a closure rework as opposed to a new item all together.

 

marathon is nice, a mirror's edge boots would be nifty
flameweaver major id is nice but there are underused items that should get it instead of adding a whole new item
