Bringing Back Old Wynn

Is it possible to bring back wynncraft from like 6 years ago? Like when Decrepit sewers was actually a skeleton dungeon and the texture pack was pretty much normal and Gavel didnt exist and stuff like that.
Ngl that would be really fricking great like, you know, absolutely nostalgia stuff and that.
Im asking for this because I miss the good ol' days from wynn.
I actually think that backups should exist so... yeah

Bring back VIP Town!

 

If I recall correctly, one of the biggest reasons this hasn't happened is that it would require them to rewrite all of the plugins for a newer version of Minecraft; the latest version of Minecraft supported properly was 1.7 or 1.8 I believe (correct me if I'm wrong).

 

i think best version atm is 1.12
but yeah at some point of time, best version was 1.8

 

Well, the problem is that they've changed so much of it at this point, including the way that the plugins work, that it would probably not work except in old Minecraft versions. Remember, this was before 2016. Minecraft 1.11 had just come out. I'm pretty sure the plugins wouldn't work at all in new version of Minecraft, which would make it more difficult if not impossible.

If they could, I would absolutely love this; even though the newer updates are better in every way, I do miss the old days.

 

Being around since 2014, I personally wouldn't like going back. It would be cool to catch a glimpse on when I began my journey, but being able to see what the builders and GM's have created since then has only furthered my adventure. Theres over 3x as much content now than there was back in 2014

Lol 70-75 grind was the easiest thing ever. If were bringing back old wynn, bring back old temple of legends

I wouldn't want VIP town anyways.
I would want everything from just before gavel.
At that point, it felt complete.

 

If I can recall, is that they don't have a backup from the old days, which means they'd have to rebuild everything, and I mean EVERYTHING.

 

I think there was only a little bit where it was pre-gavel and no VIP town (oddly specific)

 

Nah, vip town was gone for a long while.

 

[8/1/14] - 1.12 released to public. Mojang updates and starts enforcing Minecraft's EULA.
[12/21/15] - The Gavel Update/1.14 is released, which adds... take a guess.

About a year and four months. Personally that was a small time crunch throughout my time with Wynn

no, I joined after the removal of VIP town and it was quite a while before they added Gavel, this is a different account btw, I originally played a warrior pre-gavel

 

If they make everyone able to access the vip content and remove the advantages it's ok with the eula

Uhh, that's gonna use a ton of memory and make the server lag a TON, and before you say singleplayer, wynncraft runs on plugins, which are not singleplayer, so I don't think this is possible
