World Asian Server

Good Day!

So I would like to recommend to add an Asian Server in wynncraft. As we can see there are many players that play wynncraft all around the globe and Asia is one of the regions that populate wynn. As you can see there is this connection problem when playing wynncraft in Asia, despite having a decent ping a player could still cannot connect and instead time out because of the large physical distance gap from American Servers or even European Servers. With an Asian Server, it will fix most of the connectivity problems that we asians suffer and also it will have a possibility of player number boost if properly advertised in the region.

 

Eventually it will hopefully happen I'd like to think

 

I would love the idea but it will probably be too expensive

 

Its probably coming already but it might take a while.

 

The problem is that it requires a lot of money, i understand that there are EU servers because a big part of the community is European or from near to Europe places (a lot of wynncraft are swedish for example) so it is useful but for smaller "communities" it wouldn't be worth it. (But this is a good idea)

 

Asia server is a great thing and i agree since im most of the time close to/in asia.
But heres the problem;
Wynn already is a pretty hard and expensive thing to run, especially for minecraft, having 3 regions be connected and share data between them at all times is a hard and even expensive thing, running and connecting EU and US servers already was a lot of hard work most likely, even when the EU servers released, it was so laggy and buggy, kept crashing constantly, and that's after being worked on for a while.

The idea is nice and allows for more players to play and have fun, but its quite hard to achieve.
I myself am always in asia or near it in oceania, but i fix this problem with just using a vpn and my ping really goes so much better

Def not being worked on rn.
Perhaps in the future, who knows.

 

Another problem i can encounter is that vpn is not a guarranted speed and also it is expensive in which others won’t try using them aside from playing the server.
