Mythic Helmet Idea

So, I had an idea while browsing the forrums for a fabled hemet. It is not the best, so feel free to give nice constructive criticism. Enjoy.

This helmet, shaped like a dragon's skull, was forged by the leader of a cult which worshipped dragon's like gods. It saps the user's life force to power spells, as well as transforming them into a human-dragon hybrid.

 

I’m not much for item balance or whatever but I do want to say that if you’re going to have negative health ID greater than the base health, you should just make the helmet health given 0 and then decrease the negative health identification by 1500.

These don't have ranges. Also keep in mind that item ideas generally are only noted by the item team if it catches a lot of interest, but the actual item probably won't make it in.

Also item Ids are calculated by a base (for example 100) and then multiplied by 0.3 for the lowest value and 1.3 for the uppermost value for positive ids (back to the example this would lead to a range of 30-130), and 0.7 and 1.3 for negative ids (for example -70 - -130). This may have been changed somewhat but from what I can see the rule still generally applies.

there will not be any mythic helmets due to the fact the item team doesnt not want people making builds with many mythics, my advice to you is to change it to boots if you really expect it to get in

Calm down. I am OK with your idea, I didn't say it was bad or anything.
I just wanted to let you know that they wont be adding any.

 

Okay. You just said it without any context. For example, maybe "I like your idea, but I don't think they are adding any mythic helmets." would haave been better.

 

Although his reply was incredibly rude, I must disagree with this statement. I think it is possible to have mythic leggings and helmets solely considering the fact that Discoverer is a thing. For example; all mythic boots are meant to be dual elemental, hence why there is so many of them. When I was making my Mythic armors suggestion, I was taking into account the fact that no rainbow boots exist, nor are any of the mythic boots single element. While I doubt now that any future mythic armors will be single element, I still firmly believe that, since no rainbow boots have been added, that one future mythic armor could be a rainbow helmet/leggings, with the other leggings/helmet being xp-related similar to Discoverer.

 

The only reason that Disco is a chestplate is because nobody is going to use Discoverer for combat in a build with other mythics.

I would recommend OP changes his suggestion to be Fabled helmet instead of Mythic.

 

That was my point, I think mythic helmets/leggings are a possibility as long as they are not able to be used in tandem with other mythic armors, hence why i suggested the idea of a piece of rainbow armor or a piece of armor similar to Discoverer, only for xp bonus instead. That said, I 100% agree with you that OP should change his item suggestion to a fabled.
