World After Beating Hive, Unlimited Hive Item Purchases

With the new update, some people have been losing Hive items. I have a simple suggestion that is both intuitive and might help fix this.

Master Hive items are Quest items, and you can only use one at a time as it is. So why do you need to get the master voucher in order to purchase an item? Just make it so you can purchase as many as you want once you've completed Qira Hive quest. Once it's completed, you can buy it without any catalyst (the catalyst is only used to complete the quest).

You'll still have to do hive on other classes to use the items since they're quest items, and there wouldn't be incentive to do it multiple times on a class anyways since you can only use 1 item.

My question is what would you buy it with? I'm totally down for the idea of having more than one hive item per class (maybe not unlimited hive items, I think 2-3 per class is a little more reasonable but still) but the cost needs to be proportional to the power of the hive items. I was thinking maybe you could use one of each elemental voucher to get a second master voucher per class, but if you want more than two per class I don't really have any amazing suggestions. I don't like the idea of buying them with emeralds but maybe instead of one of each elemental voucher for a master voucher it could just be one of each floor X token from the elemental hives. Would make for a fair grind but idk if people would really be interested in doing that.

Anyways, I do like the idea of more hive items per class and giving them quest requirements so for the most part I'm down for this.

 

The main disadvantage is that I know they wanted it to be a sort of important choice, but the addition of the token buy back merchant kind of changed that. It's untradable, so they can't abuse selling it, it has a quest requirement so it can't be given to other classes. Multiple in a build doesn't work ( although technically weapon +armor still works, although the weapon is nerfed heavily I believe). Honestly, this wouldn't be all that abusable, but if they wanted to keep it a sort of important choice, add the option to trade 3 master tokens for a catalyst (the same as the current buy back rate) to make it still an effort to get multiples as backups, but allowing people to replace lost hive items and to increase the ease of changing your build.

It's much less of a problem with the elemental items since you rarely use more than 1 or 2 of those per class.

i feel like this is the best solution for hive items being such an annoying thing to get or lose. people losing their hive items due to a glitch shouldn’t go under the radar
