World New Currency

Well, Liquid Emeralds are becoming more and more potent by the day. Each successful loot run added up can net experienced players 10-20-30 LE in a day. The Mythic Market is being filled with Mythics that cost STACKS of LE.

I believe, in order to save inventory space, and trade window space, that we should add a new currency that is equivalent to 64 LE (1 stx).

Introducing, Emulsified Emeralds (EE)

They look like this:

Description: "These incredibly rare capsules contain multiple bottles of liquid emeralds, emulsified down with water from the sky islands into a single liquid worth an incredible amount of money."

 

The major problem with this, and I suspect the primary reason this hasn't been added before is that the effectiveness of duping is increased; a stack of these would be worth many times the max worth of emeralds in the inventory is worth currently. If someone duped a few stacks of these, that would be enough that it may have a significant impact on the economy.

In addition, there's really not much point for anyone who isn't duping; anything but the most expensive of items is worth far less than a bankpage of le, and very few people have anywhere near that much to begin with. Most items aren't even worth more than an inventory of le, so the only real benefit of this as far as I can see is to save a few spaces in the bank for the extremely wealthy (who can more than afford to buy another bank page).

 

Is inventory space really such a hassle anymore? Banks don't hold only one double chest of items anymore, and they're about to add an ingredient bag as well

 

I would say this is a suitable change I can support.
What I don't like however is that because of the many bank slots we have to dismiss all suggestions that deal with space, suggestions that handle space shouldn't be dismissed because of the abundant pages of bank space because even more space isn't a bad thing and those bank slots could serve a greater purpose while emeralds are kept in fewer bank slots.

As Melkor said, duping is something you risk with something like this. However, I think there is a good idea here that if balanced out in someway could work. Another benefit of having this would be re-rolling items more than like 8 times if... for some reason you were into that?

It is always possible there is one, and it hasn't been reported and someone is waiting
