I just want to say that I love this game and that this was an idea I just thought of.

I was thinking that there should be a new NPC called the Spellmaster that sells spells for players to use.

Every player has four spell slots, but when you’re at the Spellmaster, you not only get the shop, but you can also see your loadout and you can assign the spells that you’ve unlocked to that slot.

Say that you’re a level one mage, for example, you start with healing when you look into the shop you see four different weapons that symbolize which tab is for mage, archer, assassin, or warrior. You click on the mage and you see all these spells that are locked.

Once you finally reach the level to unlock them, you can buy them with emeralds. (Unless they’re the spells that are already in the base game, you just get those for free once you reach that level)

Then you can buy them and assign them to spell slot one or two or etc. in that case when you use “R, L, R” It’s no longer Heal and now it’s whatever spell you reassigned there.

Spell load-outs will be a really fun new thing in my opinion and change how players will play.

Also, I know you guys released a whole new update, I just thought this might be cool.

I always liked the idea of being able to customize your spells, even just having a total of 8 spells for each class where you can mix and match seemed really cool to me, it would also give the opportunity to lock some spell unlocks/upgrades above level 71 (or is it 66?) so that you're still getting major new upgrades far into the endgame.

I think the bigger thing at hand is there needs to be more interesting and diverse gameplay in Wynn. I think new updates in 1.19 (shaman, major id) totally accomplish this. Not that there can always be more.

I just recently started playing wynncraft again (last time I was in middle school back in 2012 and now I'm in college). I have had a blast playing again. I came here to make this exact suggestion so I thought I would give my support to the idea. I think that variety in gameplay give rise to new innovative strategies and new ways to specialize while just generally keeping the game fresh. That being said this is all coming from a smash bro random main, lol. I personally don't have the time to make examples of spells I think would be good, but I love to see some other people come up with something to give this thread a bit more attention.

I don't really see the point of adding new spells when all the classes currently have what they need with wynncrafts current combat; instead I would suggest a mechanical rework of the combat (enemies, how spells work, how you attack, how you avoid dmg, etc) and then add new abilities to work with that from there, rather than just piling a ton of different forms of dealing damage on to a currently flawed system

I think that the actual system is fine, classes have the spells they need which fits with ther gameplays. Adding more spells could break this "balance".
