World A New ??? Quest (added Pole)

I kinda like the ??? Quest if you got the right peeps for it
I also think a lot of players liked it to figuer out the ??? When it was first releasd i think that we maby should update this quest again
and do that like every 1/2 years

 

Although I like the idea, this probably wouldn't work.

 

I loved ??? a lot, and would love something of the sort, but I doubt there will be a second version. If there ever is, I hope that they don't require someone to stand around and three other people go run around and do stuff

Wynn actually had something similar with the potato hunt though, not a quest but it was a community event where we had the same process

 

I would be delighted if every update or so they released a big community challenge like that. The only thing I that I see wrong with it is that something that requires multiple people to complete is always a bit annoying if you can find a party who wants to do it when you do, so something with less multiplayer necessity might be better.

That said, I kind of like the aspect of having to work together even though they're *soooo* sure they know how to do the puzzle but they really don't and we would already be done if you'd just listened to me in the first place this is so annoying oh my gosh just go back that room and stand on the pressure plate for goodness sake!

 

i would like a new community puzzle to find the solution to a mysterious quest, but as stated above i would like it to work without the help of other players.

 

They pretty much already added another ??? for 1.19; it’s called a Hunter’s Calling.

 

Can a Hunters Calling be soloed though? I kinda assumed it was more like TOA or Qira but the levels were scattered around the whole world.

 

I’m not quite sure, though what I do know is that it involves riddles that require the player to go to specific locations around the map. I got that from the Hero Beta Feedback Section, so that’s whyI think it’s pretty much another ??? since people are still trying to solve the riddles.

 

Ohhh, sounds interesting! I've been avoiding most of the HB discussion to avoid major spoilers but sometimes I get a little curious.

 

Understandable. Not spoiling anything, but so far the only thing not implemented in beta are Point of No Return and the Nessak ultimate discovery, so it’ll probably be another week before the update is officially released.

 

My exams start on the third and end on the thirteenth so I reallllly hope it the update gets stalled a couple more weeks. it would suck trying to study with the update looming over me :(

 

The annoying part about Hunter's Calling is the rapid loss of soulpoints to tp scrolls lol

 

The only problem is that high level players might need to do the same quest again every once and a while. That person would need to find a whole new group of people and go through all of the steps. It can get very repetitive after the second time or so. If they want to use their items from that quest they would need to do it again. Some players might find that a non permanent set is not worth all of the work.

Now, multiply that for ~16 characters. Each Time.

I love to think about imagine if there IS another ??? quest, and we just haven't found it (possibly not in quest book or something) would be pretty funny imo if out of nowhere someone just finds it


I don't really think there is one, just still the thought of it.
