I want the combat level to be displayed somehow.

I think a good way to do this is handle it like the mobs, but have the combat level first, like this:

    [Lvl. 1] Username_here

(The level should be a different color from mob levels, as that may make it confusing for some players.)

    instead of

    Monster_Name [lvl. 1]

Just so that it is easier to tell a monster and a player apart.

This would be very useful for all types of players, for example, the high-level players who want to complete party quests, or supporter players who give items to new players.

It is very inconvenient to have to look in the chat, because some players do not speak there, so It's impossible to tell how high their level exactly is, especially when there are high-level players in Ragni without any armor on, and one can assume they are new players.

New players who look in the chat may be confused to see the player level of the combat and professions added together.

With level displays (or lack thereof), like this, it is very difficult to find players that are of similar levels to each other, and therefore party quests are harder to do.

If the developers of Wynncraft want their servers to be easier to use for players both new and old, I hope you consider this suggestion.

Another thing that would be useful would be showing which way the player is facing on the online map, since it is still easy to get lost in the vast world of Wynncraft, and some players may not have wynntils.

this would help especially if you are like me, and have no sense of direction.

You can already do '/toggle chatlevel' to show combat levels in chat.

The suggestion is about showing combat level in the nametag, not in chat

This would pretty much fix the whole "show combat level in chat by default" controversy, and would be a pretty good QoL feature, so it's pretty cool
But when it comes to chat, yeah, you can simply use /toggle chatlevel

I honestly like this suggestion more than that other one.

Honestly, I do like this suggestion. It's nice to know which levels the players are without the need to talk in chat. But I would like it if there is a toggle to it (just like everything) since it might get inconvenient to me to see "[lvl. x]" near players nametag.
    Btw, add a poll.
Regardless of this suggestion were to be added or not, it would not solve the whole problem.
The whole problem isn't just about wanting to know someone level that is near you. This suggestion is nice and all, but you will only see the level of players that are near you.
Honestly, I don't see any negatives with the other suggestion being added. It would make fewer players confused, and it would display actual information in the chat.

In the meantime, we can know where north/south/east/west is in the online map and use the debug screen in-game.

The chat level is still a gross number blob that doesn't tell us what any of there actual levels are, and noobs will still probably get confused at the chat level, as you can witness in random YouTube videos of them thinking its their actual level.

I do like this suggest, I just don't think it solves every issue.

It doesn't 100% solve it for sure, but I do think it'd help

I guess this is alright. I just don’t think it’s completely necessary and I like how the name tags are one of the final remaining vanilla elements in Wynn. :/
