New Class Idea

Class name: The Corrupted One

The Corrupted One will focus around debuffing his enemies, slowly but surely killing them by applying strong debuffs like Wither, Poison and Stunning.

This class will have a sword as weapon.

Skill 1; Corrupted Shroud
Grade 1:
Vanishes, just like an Assassin, inflicting a weak Poison debuff to enemies in a 3 block radius.
Grade 2:
Vanishes, just like an Assassin, inflicting a weak Poison debuff to enemies in a 3 block radius, and slowing them.
Grade 2:
Vanishes, just like an Assassin, inflicting a strong Poison debuff to enemies in a 3 block radius, and slowing them.


Skill 2; Corrupted Spike
Grade 1:
Summons a Corrupted Spike out of the ground, knocking enemies airborne, dealing low damage.
Grade 2:
Summons a Corrupted Spike out of the ground, knocking enemies airborne, dealing moderate damage.
Grade 3:
Summons a Corrupted Spike out of the ground, knocking enemies airborne, dealing moderate damage, and applying a weak Wither debuff on the enemies hit.

Skill 3; Corrupted Scream
Grade 1:
Screaming, knocking enemies backwards, dealing NO damage, but applies a weak Poison debuff.
Grade 2:
Screaming, knocking enemies backwards, dealing NO damage, but applies a weak Poison and Wither debuff.
Grade 3:
Screaming, knocking enemies backwards, dealing NO damage, but applies a strong Poison and Wither debuff.

Skill 4; Corrupted Rage
Grade 1:
Inflicts strong damage upon yourself, while applying a strong Defense buff.
Grade 2:
Inflicts moderate damage upon yourself, while applying a strong Defense and Speed buff.
Grade 3:
Inflicts moderate damage upon yourself, while applying a strong Defense, Speed and Strength buff.



The Corrupted One would have;
Damage; 3 points
Defence; 3 points
Range; 2 points
Spells; 5 points

This class would be playable once an individual has reached level 100 on one of his characters.

 

The abilities and the fact that this character has a sword, makes me believe that this character should have a lower range from 3 to at least 2. The only reason why I’m saying this is because it’s stats are really good.

 

You're right. I'll add 1 point to Spellcasting and I'll take 1 point from Range

 

Sounds amazing character to play as.
Support Characters are rare due to many playing alone and those who already invested in this game will play this with a team definitely rather than random soloes.
Making much more chances for a groupie and more interactive server in a team play.

 

Sounds interesting, Not sure how used it would be though...

 

Main problem I can think of: the player is a mercenary/soldier hired from fruma by wynn to fight to corruption, so why would the king of ragni enlist a very powerful vessel of corruption that fights by corrupting?

 

This. Also, the poll's kind of a strawman; just because they don't like your class idea doesn't mean they don't want new classes

 

yeah, I voted no still because I don't see this being fitting for wynn, but if a gm one day made a well designed class and got it to fit in to the game then I wouldn't mind

True, to be honest, I haven't even thought about that..

 

The class just seems too out of place. I mean, if this class really WAS added to the roster, it would stand out too much. You'll have the Warrior, Archer, Assassin, Mage, and Corrupted One. See the problem? It also makes no lore sense. Plus, it has no mobility spells, so have fun dragging your slow ass across the biggest map in minecraft history.
