World Mini-quests For Professions

I got this idea a couple weeks ago but never got around to posting a thread about it.
In my mind, these would be daily or weekly or whatever mini-quests for various professions.

For example, one person wants 16 Acacia and 5 Spruce Logs, another wants two meals, someone wants a crafted spear, and so on. They'd give a modest amount of XP, but enough to justify not doing the same task over and over for three hours straight with breaks to dump 150 fish in your bank before running back out.

That's about it. :D

 

Seems like a fair idea, although I think they should be on the signposts and you can't re-do them :)

 

if they wanted a spear what xp would you get? would it be combat/profession or gathering/crafting? also for low level crafting it would have to give a lot of xp to justify as you can go up a few lvls by just putting in 6 ingredient
