    Not sure if anyone has suggested this yet but its something I've thought about for a while. The only consumables sold are potions and even then there's not much variety within them. If some npcs sold food and scrolls with unique effects this allows the player to pick a situationally better healing item and would add depth to the world. That is all.

    I've been thinking the same thing! Perhaps they could even be rewards in dungeons?
