/ignore Upgraded

So, i kinda made an account just to make this suggestion;
The ability for /ignore to actually block out messages from ignored user even when they use shouts.
/ignore at the moment is kinda useless when they don't block out someone being meme-y/spamming the chat with shouts.

 

Shouts aren't meant for most or some players to see them but all players. They payed money after all, and I highly doubt anybody harasses anybody with shouts, that's a big money waster for nothing. Report at will.

 

Didn't bring up harassing because i've never seen such an issue. Im suggesting this so people can opt out of seeing 1 person constantly spamming shouts with, well, spam.

I sort of understand what you mean, but then on the other hand shouts are never really used to insult someone.

 

Yesterday was a great example of having a shout blocker command would've been useful, with a certain user literally spamming the chat with single word shouts.

 

/ignore should also have a mechanic where all visible players in the world disapear much like many other servers give there players the option in the hub. Making an easy tool for solo/youtube/streamer players

 

Using a shout to ask others to PM a certain player can be annoying because it blocks their /r.
