Honestly, the website/forum team, whoever is in charge of publicizing, marketing should really look into getting players to actively go to the Nether again.

I remember 5, 4 years ago the Nether was a wonderful competitive place for plenty of players to have fun and experience a different dynamic than the regular wynncraft experience.

It seems it's fallen in hard times ever since the community has been less active in the game- what with the 50 player cap per world, which is understandable due to the potential lag- and more active in the forums, and apparently now more recently in discord; I honestly think a great way to bring back the community in the game itself would be the Nether, I remember it being a great place to meet people and have a player with player experience.

I feel like this could be done with more advertising and marketing work with the Nether, by adding certain in-game chat messages talking about the nether "Have you visited the Nether? It's a competitive free-for-all PvP world for players in a unique arena! Earn Gold Coins!"

Stuff like that I mean, maybe more in the website than just a small section in the help page. Maybe events! Events could be announced in the chat, event is starting, whoever won, whatever. Maybe event messages could actually show up as titles like with the player reached level 103, or player won fighter of the month. You know, and the like, Daily and Weekly rankings, fighter of the month, whatever.

if you have anything more to add, please go ahead.

I guess the gold coin thing was removed? still makes no sense, EULA was created to end economic elitism and pay2win and that kind of services, this is the opposite of that, every single player can compete for a chance to win them, can't see why they'd remove the gold coins, but I don't really care enough to argue, I'd just like the nether to be active again, that's all

The thing is, the game is kinda balanced when it's the player against mobs. But if you put a player against another player the game become very unbalanced.
If you can buy a certain currency with IRL money but also get it in game makes it a hybrid currency which the Eula says is a nono.

If I remember correctly every player was leveled out to level 50 when in the Nether, I remember being level 26 and defeating players level 70 (the cap at the time)

I personally think the nether would be better as a quest area, as the pvp arena does not make sense with the lore. Anyone who has walked into the portal has gone insane, or died and became one with the undead, so why would a bunch of random players enter and exit the nether completely unharmed? Even if we kept the pvp arena maybe the player could get hallucinations while fighting or something. Make it feel like the player is being corrupted.

    Quest Area!!!!
I'd prefer the End being the PVP World, Instead of the Nether as it now holds lot of Lore Tied to it, Making pvp feel weird if you like the lore. Besides, Imagine having The Ability to use another dimension for the main game `-`

pvp in general in wynn is terrible. There damage in wynncraft is meant for much higher health than players can achieve. A high amount of hp for a player is 20k (endgame), and at that gets depleted really fucking quickly. Or straight up one shot. Player health isn’t balanced for duels, as the dmg in wynncraft is meant to scale for mobs/bosses with hundred of thousands to even millions of hp. It just doesn’t work, and like many others have stated the builds are unbalanced as fuck for pvp.

The current “meta” of pvp is pretty much air. Because everybody and their mom is running fucking air, most attacks will just miss and do nothing. It’s whoever hits the other first wins or maybe hits them 2-4 times first wins. Either way it’s very dumb and pvp is a fucking laughfest on how braindead it is. Some duels I get lucky and land my first meteor on their air build, but other times I just miss a quadrillion times and then I die. Obviously air isn’t the only option, tank builds are good too, and etc. The problem is everybody pretty much dies way too quickly, and the longer your build can live (air, tank, etc) the better it is for dumbass pvp.

The Nether as a PVP Arena does have lore attached to it, as so many people I've seen seem to forget about. The Lore reasoning is that as you enter the nether your mind drifts and goes mad, causing you to attack what once were your teammates.
The End has no relevance inside Wynn other than an Easter Egg, and I doubt even exists canonically, as it is a Minecraft thing, not a Wynncraft Thing.
