Why would you want high level quests, in low level areas?

Think of it like this. You start the game in ragni, you walk around exploring the town and see an npc for a quest so you talk to him. He responds with, "I'm sorry, but I think you're far too inexperienced for the task I have. Go train in the world, and come back when you're combat level 75. I'll wait patiently for your return".
So now you're thinking to yourself, "A level 75 quest? I wonder what could it be?". So you keep thinking that while you fight mobs and do quests, the thought of what such high level quest be about fills you with determination to pursue your goal and get to level 75. Then after hours of hard work, and exploring the world, experiencing all kinds of unique dialogue and events, fighting through hordes of corrupted and enjoying the game, you finally return to see what was waiting for you.

This of course wouldn't just work for ragni. You could have level 50 quests in Almuj, or level 90 quests in Troms. It would just need to be significant level difference to excite you into playing the game more.

Partially, yes. Just having a no button makes the poll a but more simple.
But that's not why I disagree, I never like it when there's high level content in low level areas. I always want to do as much as possible in an area and if there's high level content there it's really a pain in the ass to figure out what it's for. I also think it's really annoying to have to travel all the way across the map to get to a quest. This gets to the point where you sometimes spend more time walking than doing the actual quest.

Fucking tp scrolls... What's the problem?
Well, I specifically didn't have a no option becaouse of people like you, who come on the thread, fuck up the like to dislike ratio and don't bother to tell the reason they disagree with something. That's why I'm not going to put a no option anymotre, becaouse almost everytime I don't see anyone explaining why they chose no.

First, I would like to say that this concept is infact has been already done. There are low level areas near some of the high level area like detlas and savannah, Elkurn and Nesaak, Pigmen's Ravine and Troms etc.

Now, what I want to say is that this concept of "Making players wonder what new things they'll encounter" is good and it's already on the work, the problem with your idea is simple which is "The quest will be better on a high level area" because making a high level quest on lower level area will of course have some problems (mobs, NPCs and places etc).

But, it's still cool to come back to the town after a long time of training and do/see new things that the old you wasn't able to do/see.

Note: I'm not saying that I disagree with the idea, but there might be a better way than adding a high level quest on a low level area.

Yeah, but that's not what I am suggesting... Yes, there are low level areas near high level ones, but what I am suggesting is that there should specifically be high level QUESTS in low level areas.
How will it affect mobs, NPC's or places? It will be just one or two high level quests per area. If you're talking about there needing to be high level areas build in low level areas then you're not thinking creativly enough. There doesn't HAVE to be high level areas, they could be on seeperate parts of the map, or even the quests could reefer you to high level areas. The main point of high level quests in low level areas, is to interest the player and have them constantly think about it.

i agree completely. however 1 thing I'd like to suggest:
It'd be great if you could list out a few examples of these, more details about them (prerequisites? do they relate to previous quests? why are they there? etc.)

I know, I just was showing you a concept that is similar to yours. (word it poorly, sorry)
Why would you put a quest on a low level area if they won't use it at all? oh yeah it's for "To make players have more determination to see what the quest is all about" well, I don't believe that will necessary be the case:
If a player sees a high level quest on their low level area that will confuse them or will just forget about it but if he was actually interesting I would just use Wikipedia to spoil the quest because it's a large gap between my level and that's what happened to me when I got to level 90 I spoiled all the quests past this level because it takes too long to do (they add MH storyline, so that's not the case anymore).
I'm not saying that no players will find this as determination to continue, there will be, but most players won't see it as determination to continue.

Still, this concept is cool not because of "giving determination to level up" but for feeling of "i'm progressing in this game".
I would say to make high level quests near low level areas instead of in.
Something like adding a quest near the cosatal trail there are mobs level 50, make a house there and put an NPC there.

This isn't the full thing I want to say, so I will come back and write more. (this is just a simple TLDR)

    Yes.... But also No

It should be a nice bit of nostalgia, But too many quests like this make going back and forth tedious
I'd Think Regional Level Quests such as Ragni, Is a level 1-10 Area, So, Keeping this in mind, There should be at least a 5:1 Ratio of Regional Area Quests to High level quets

I think you should realise that not everyone acts or thinks like you. I spoil myself things only if I don't REALLY care about them. You shouldn't get your personal opinion into whatever or not this would actully entice others players.

I didn't want to gve any specific examples becaouse this suggestion isn't suggesting quests, it's suggesting a new idea quests can appear.

I know, i'm just saying my point of view.
If i said that "I" instead of "players" i would just get someone saying "you're not the only one playing the game".
I know that i worded my points poorly and i'm sorry for that. but to be honest, i'm kinda annoyed at how you countered my points (even if they were bad or worded poorly).
To be more clear, i never thought that everyone thinks the same as i am, if that really is the case then i don't really know who the world is still alive....
Also, i would like to point out that i completely disagree with "You shouldn't get your personal opinion into whatever or not this would actully entice others players." this is the point of this suggestion, right? and even if it wasn't, i should be able to give my opinion.

I'll probably give a full detailed comment about how to improve the suggestion after two weeks.

Although, i think i was wrong on this part
