World Junk Merchants

Hello during the 1.18 update the junk merchant was removed. I personally think it would be a great idea to readd it with a few changes.

It would buy the tier zero items of the area it is in (not including those used for mini-quests). It would then sell these at a higher price, allowing for easier profession grinding.

It would also make sense in regards to the economy. The players in the area collect the materials to sell to the merchant and he makes a profit by selling it at a higher price to people who want it in mass.

Wouldn't mind this as long as they're sold for a much higher price.
It would serve as a nice money sink to the game, but also allow for a bit of a reward for anyone not doing crafting.
Plus this is already in the game for Gold in Rymek, in which you can buy it for like 16 emeralds pre-peace, and sell it for 4 pre-peace.
Note it is an ingredient.

Also, the thread could do with some cleaning.

I rejuvenated the corpse, more people should suggest things, so then I can message on there also.

 

There's no junk in-game anymore...
Only ingredients you use for crafting

 

Alright smartass, also the junk was turned into ingredients and is dropped exactly the same way from the same mobs. So it's safe to say it's still junk. (Funny that is has the same name too eh?)

 

But they're useless

 

To some people it actually serves a purpose and is very usefull. Wouldn't rlly call it 'junk'.

Many ingredients outdo others so they become junk and useless to them.

 

Still usefull for leveling

 

I mean there are better ones

Very true, but if you (accidentally) find another ingredients it isn't necessary 'junk'. You can craft with it as well or just put it on market if you really want to get ems from them.
