The Ability To Change Rank Username Colors In Ingame Chat

Buyable ranks. Wynn has these as small things that grant many mini perks. They do an assortment of stuff but I will focus on the one main thing that these ranks do: changing your ingame chat username color.

There are three ranks: VIP, VIP+, and HERO, as everyone should know. These ranks grant the username of the player to be that color, whether it being green if you have VIP, or a deep purple for HERO.
So what happens if you like a chat color of a previous rank?

Here's the suggestion: if you are VIP+ and higher, you can change your username into a previous rank color.

A few things to note:

1. This will not change the rank color that is next to your username. This will only affect your username and your username only.
2. This would be most suited as a command rather than a compass selector icon. However: add a paper icon that says you can in the compass for VIP+ and higher.
3. VIPs and under will not be able to change their color for obvious reasons. This suggestion will only affect VIP+ and higher.

Here's how it would work, using images:

This is the message that appears confirming that you have successfully changed your color.


And this is the result: a HERO ranked player with a VIP+ colored username.

Please give your opinions down below about this extremely minor suggestion catered to a minority of people.

If it is easy to implement I don’t see why not. Doesn’t affect me but I still would agree

 

Nearly every hero agrees that Vip+ colour is the best colour.
HOWEVER
Any dumb ass who thinks the Vip green looks nice needs help I cannot provide...

reread ur thing and nah I think the name colours are good as grey and just the [RANK] should be the only thing that u can alter.
Having coloured names makes the chat really messy and disgusting to look at so ganna have to yoink u a down vote sorry. Wait do we already have colour names and I havnt notice omfg im so confused.

I prefer green instead of purple but i don’t want to see difference ranks to have the same color, i want to feel that i am higher than them because they are not the same as me.

 

Blue > Purple > Non rankers Grey > Admins red > Mods yellow and no nyam its not orange and no stag it isnt gold > literally every other colour there is >vomit green > vip green.

 

Purple is better than blue and i prefer green because it really stand out comparing to other colors except for red.

 

Greens to dark imo.
Personally Ive kinda always wanted it to be a bit lighter.
Like purple is dark but it doesn't look sickly.

I went against my "Spend no money on games" rule when I won Vip
bought Vip+
Then won hero yeet.


the friend colour looks far nice then the Vip colour imo.

 

If there is a way to toggle off this feature it will be better so i changed from no to yes.

Personally I feel like too many colours can crowd the chat. Also, colours such as yellow, blue, and red and reserved for mods, CT and admins respectively. Maybe just have the option between green, grey, light blue, and purple, since they are already implemented.

i intentionally put it so that the rank tag color doesn't change because its there to show your true rank

Also, you can still see what rank the player is cos the word would still be there.

I don't know about you, but if I saw a [HERO] Tag with blue or green text, I would come to the conclusion that the player is a hero ranked player, since it has the word "hero" in the tag

I vote no, simply because too much colour will just be painful to look at.

1.18 already gave us the colourful update so if you need colour I suggest you head to Detlas...

If any of you have joined a factions server in 2018, you'll know what I mean when I say this.. WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING IN THE CHAT.

Literally everyone's name is flying around with rainbow colours spelt with spinning characters, with like 7 different ranks each with their own set of colours, god rank here, overlord rank there, a bizillion +'s, people nicknaming themselves instead of usernames, colorizing text because of rank perks, stars everywhere, bolded letters, random ass numbers, abuse of square brackets, underlining things

yea it goes on and on.
