Mo'spells

    Spells in wynncraft are quite. Lacking. each class only has 4 spells at their disposal, and while they do get upgraded and become stronger, after level 66 all you’re left with is 4 strong spells. Its almost as if Each class is forcefully locked into a certain play style, and while skill points do allow for some deviations. When it really comes down to it, The only thing you do as a warrior is go boom and bang. I dont know if im just being picky here, but after a while repeatedly pressing Right-left-left loses its magic. That is why i have created an idea for new spells!


    Currently, each class only has 4 spells at their disposal. With all of these spells being assigned to these key bindings:



    right-left-right


    right-right-right


    right-left-left


    right-right-left



    But what if these key bindings werent locked into one spell! what if you could assign New spells into these key bindings!


    Where would you be able to do this you may be asking. well if you open your compass you will notice this new block:

    Do you see the end portal? that is the the Magical grimoire. the place where you will be able to unlock new spells and assign them to your keybindings. If you click on it, this new menu will appear:

    The Snowballs/enderpearls on the left are ordinary spells you unlock through leveling up, eg heal, smash, uppercut etc. The enderpearls tell you if they're unlocked or not, snow= no, enderpearl=yes. and all the other spells past the green arrows are new and unlockable spells.

    The pieces of paper on the right represent your keybindings. clicking on a keybinding and then an unlocked spell will assign it to that key binding.


    Now why would you need a reset icon there?

    Because of a new currency similar to skill points. These being Grimoire points. or GP for short. every 5 levels your character will be given 1 GP which you can use to unlock new spells or upgrade the new spells you have unlocked. GP's cannot be used to level up spells that are unlocked through level (on the left) and cannot be unlocked through GP.


    sadly i wont be writing each individual new spell. i dont have that much time on my hands.

    +1 support. Maybe add taunt and barricade spells for warriors, and more support spells for mage

    It's a good idea, its just the fact of how much time and dedication the CT would need to do to make this happen, I can only imagine the amount of time it took to code the current 16 spells that are in the game when with your idea there would have to be something closer to 80 or even over 100 spells in the game all of which need to be balanced, not break the game, consistently patched, how to get them and everything else that I can't think of off the top of my head. It could certainlly be done, but it would probably take more time than it took to create gavel and corkus combined, not to even mention that there are significantly less coders than builders on the server so I just think the idea would be to ambitous for the current CT to manage. Maybe in the (distant) future though.
