World Marketplace Sort By Price Function

Make it so when you're viewing a page of items for sale on the market place, you can sort by price from most to least expensive, and least to most expensive. Thanks.

 

Would be an awesome feature. Just recently started using the system and it for sure could use some updating. +1

The only problem is that it would be unusable. People who have no idea what stuff should be priced like will spam 67 millon emeralds rotten fleeh, making the screen full of useless junk.

I mean, it's not too hard to see the price of something currently, the highest and lowest buyers and sellers, along with the average price over the past two weeks.
I have a detailed thread about how to use all of those features in my signature.

Anyway, I can't say a price filter wouldn't be neat. Just like being able to scroll through the pages of the Marketplace for those who aren't looking for anything specific, but just want to see if there's anything they're interested in throwing their money at.

I'm sure there's quite a lot of code involved, and I assume some things, like items being listed in raw emeralds, were done purposefully because of this. Unsure though. Interesting idea either way, if there's a simple solution, it'd be nifty to have this feature for those who would use it. The best implementation of this would be as a filter, that way you can either sort one or two specific items by price, or if you just want to sort everything by price, you could do that as well. Whatever it may be

 

+1 sure, why not! The code for it wouldn’t be that pressing, I’m sure, and it’s a neat little QoL with no downsides really other than taking the programmers time away from other projects.
