I'd like to have an option for old classes (let's say combat 20 or higher) so they can skip the tutorial and skip to the main map as it is time consuming and boring to have to do the same tutorial over and over to get your classes out of the update room

Yes, if the tutorial was already done for that class AND you already did the tutorial at least once for the 1.18 update

would really like to see this in game, probably won't happen for 1.18 but maybe future updates ... now I have to go, 3 more hours of tutorials to get back my classes

This seems to be a pretty popular opinion in general. Although I think it is a wholly poor idea to allow ANYONE to skip the tutorial - even newcomers - as this could potentially lead to vital information about the game mechanics/background lore being missed, it does seem redundant (not to mention tedious and rather frustrating) to have to repeat this part of the game every single time you restart a class. A skip feature would be nice in this case alone.

That said, I see one interesting problem with this proposition. How many quests are there in the game? Something around 120? Many of these quests are relatively long anyway and are expected to be completed multiple times. How can it be justified that each of these classes gets to skip ONE quest which is considered a bit annoying to do? Because after all, even though it is the tutorial, it is still a quest just like the others, isn't it? Something to think about...

The thing with the tutorial is that you can't avoid it if you need to get your class to a bank or something.

To me, the main problem is that players with many pre-1.18 classes have to redo the tutorial on every single class.

I was doing the Heart of Llevigar quest (you know, the one with the puzzles?). I managed to almost finish the second puzzle but then realized I had to quit. That was January 17. And then you know it, the next day, I get whacked onto the other side of the map back in Ragni, and I had to do everything over again (go back to Llevigar, enter the sewer, do the puzzles again). It wasn't that bad, I did finish the quest. This suggestion would really be useful if you're in a situation like this. (There are probably worse situations, but I can't think of any)

+1 IMO, if you’ve completed to tutorial once on ANY class, then you should be allowed to skip it. Going through the tutorial once teaches you essentially everything you’d need to know about any other class. The only difference being you having to chop trees for wands/bows and mining for warriors/assassins which in turn makes you either level woodworking or level weaponsmithing.

By understanding weaponsmithing/woodworking, you basically understand cooking, jeweling, and the other skill you didn’t get in the tutorial. You need two items, each come from a “gathering” skill, and use them to make an item that levels a “crafting” skill.

I agree with this, but as stated previously. New updates can cause the game to change in unseen ways (key example being the 2015 gavel update) so I believe the list of requirements should be very large before a player can even be given the decision to pass the tutorial or not
Here's the list of requirements I think should give permission to pass
    - +20 levels in at least 1 crafting profession and a gathering profession.
    - +30 levels in combat
    - +Has played the game since the most recent update (Excluding minor patches)
    - +Played the game within the last 6 months for more than a single hour without being afk and not in a lobby.
    - +Must also face a mildly challenging enemy before proceeding into the main world like a mini boss with a special attack and somewhere between 50-100 hp.
    - +Will be asked several times if they want to quit the tutorial quest in a similar way to how the original class deleting mechanic worked.
