World Quick Navigation For Bank Pages

I don't know if this was posted before, I only checked the last 6 pages of world suggestions.



A: You click the chest icon in bank to enter the quick navigation
B: Current chest icon used in the bank UI (for dumping items) is replaced with hopper icon
C: In the quick navigation you see all your bank pages, simply click one and you'll go directly to that page
D: You can also buy bank pages from this screen, preventing missclicks on the "next" button twice to buy a page (current method)


...that's it...

 

What if you also added the ability to rename each individual bank page (for instance: Powders, Legendary's, Quest Items, etc) and hovering over a bank page in the quick navigation displays the name of the page? I think it would make it easier to navigate your pages

 

I was just about to comment this, I'm glad someone agrees. I like this idea.

Also I'm assuming the hopper makes it so that if you have one item it automatically stacks with an existing item if available? (Oh my gosh my bank would finally be organized...)

 

If there will be an option to make it the standard way the bank looks after you open it, this is a great idea

 

Thought about these things too ... but wanted it to be as simple as possible to increase the chances of it being implemented in the game

I just changed the icon/texture, that function already exist in game

 

I love it!
The only missing thing will be a way to organize the bank i would prefer if the hopper were to be a way to organize the bank something like:
1-Click Left to put all your items except your hotbar (already in the game)
2-Click Right to put all items (already in the game)
3-Click Left+Shift to organize the page by level vertical
4-Click Right+Shift to organize the page by level horizontally
5-Click Left+Control to organize the page by type vertical
6-Click Right+Control to organize the page by type horizontally

Also, a better way to search if possible

Edit: After thinking a little bit this is a lot of options maybe add other options down the chests and make it when you click them it will organize all pages

I think this could be a very useful implementation! Also I am impressed by your proposed UI - not many suggestions for changes of In-game mechanics seem to ever include a “blueprint” for how the change would be made. It is simple and intuitive, yet clearly would get the job done. I also support the above additions concerning reorganization and renaming of each bank space.

 

yeah this idea has been tossed about for a while but I don't think anyone actually made a decent thread about it.

My biggest issue... Bank page 21 and 22...
UNLESS

Page 22 = Row 6 5th Slot across
THENN
Row 6 4th slot across is just a
- red X with like "SoonTM" or idk something to fill the slot bcz symmetry ya know.
- some other icon that actually has a feature. Possibly like with the /class icon selection. U press the icon. Then u click the icon u want to edit. Then u can edit that Pages name (Not icon)

Powders (Page 2)
Page 2 (Powders)

+1, one suggestion though make an option for replacing the chest icons for other items to find the right bank page fast

 

+1 I think this’d be a nice addition. It wouldn’t be the quickest thing to code (provided you add the ability for a player to decide what they want the pane name to be, what object they want to be displaying for the pane, etc.), but if they could get around to this I’d be a very neat feature that I’m sure a lot of people would appreciate (like me; I have a lot of bank pages haha)
