This idea is based on Skyrim.

I propose an idea of affinity to each class in the new professions gives 1.18.

For example the Assasin for being sneaky, he could start with 10 in Alchemism 10 in WeaponSmithing and have +1.5x more xp in that profession.

Warrior: It would have 5 in WeaponSmithing and 15 in Armouring +1.5xp

Archer: 10 Woodcutting and 10 in Tailoring +1.5xp

    Mage: 10 WoodCutting and 10 Scribing +1.5xp

i like this idea, But maybe have the starting stats lower, Say, 10 in the stat, 15 is a bit... High for a new character..
Otherwise, I like this idea a lot

Cool idea, but I feel that it would make only mages scribers and only warriors armourers, and Wynn tries to break confines of classes. Like how intelligence is the dominant element for mage, it would become typical for mages to be the only scribers, just because of efficiency.

Personally the idea of no +10 since thats a little weird imo.
And then classes just get the exp boost for their Weapon profession type.
    Also... 1.5x is A LOT
so maybe just ya know... 1.1 or 1.15xbase

Cos yeah as someone else said u dont wanna just make it welp screw doing X on Y class because its easier to do it on Z class!
A major part of the update was bringing back the whole 'Any class can do anything!'
There is a quote by salted somewhere iirc like pre-gavel where he mentions something along the lines of "if you want to kill things with only teleport? You can do it!"
now obvsly thats not 100% possible but crafting does bring back versatility to classes besides the base Defence and Damage % buffs to classes but it does allow for more customisation which shouldn't then be reduced.

Thats my reasoning for suggesting that ONLY the weapon profession for the specific class gets a % increase of say idk 10-15%

I like where the idea is coming from. It’s a classic RPG element that a lot of games follow suit with.

But personally, I don’t like the idea. I think it has a place in other games, and is balanced and adds complexity, but when it comes to Wynncraft I just don’t feel like it fits. I believe a feature like that could be more related to a race or a career as opposed to a class. It might seem obvious to some people but I don’t really know it just doesn’t resonate in me well.

Don’t be discouraged though, who knows what the content team has in store
