World Re-do Quests

After you complete a quest in wynncraft, you can’t do it again. You have to level an entire new class to be able to do it again. This can be a problem for people who make quest guides, or people who lead others through quests that require story to progress and cutscenes.

My idea is the ability to redo quests for no extra reward. Simply talk to the main quest npc again, and a sign will appear asking if you want to do this quest again (you will not receive any rewards for completing the quest again). Then simply type yes or no into the sign. Typing yes will immediately cause the dialogue and quest to start again.

Redoing a quest does not effect its status in your quest book, so even if you re-do Qira it will still be marked as completed.

This is just a fun idea for those who love running quests, making quest guides, or helping people through quests that require cutscenes and lots of teleporting around. They can efficiently travel with them by redoing the quest!

 

Sounds like a cool idea!
However, what does this mean for quests that give you stuff halfway through thr quest like Blank Powders in Envoy Pt. I? Or quests that need you to have specific quest items? This seems like it could run into a lot of issues like this with redoing quests.

 

yeah you would run into problems with series quests
Technically the items you get from Aldorei's Secret part 1 are "rewards" so Part 2 would be impossible
The goes with the Taproot line of quests
Wynn Excav A B C D
Haven't done D&D yet but I presume it will be the same.

Technically The T4 Powders could be avoided since it isn't needed for the next stage but in quests where the reward acts like a "key" to a certain stage it would be an issue.


Considering that it does affect so little people and would have some issues I don't really see the positive over the negatives.
My best suggestion is to yeah just start a new class :(
Its a pain but if you enjoy doing the quests and its to help others its worth it no?
