Game Design Auction House Is Confusing

Hi I am going to say upfront that I haven't been playing around with the auction house THAT much so my perspective is essentially that of a new players.

I looked into the auction house and it was extremely confusing. I have a bit of feedback for this in order to make it simpler (I am not a coder so i don't know how difficult these would be)

My first idea is sections , when you open the marketplace you are presented with the icons of all all the possible options. For example if you are looking for a chestplate then you click on the chestplate. These sections would include horses,each type of armor and weapon as well as potions and all the types of craftable items. I don't know whether the ingredients should be a section as well but maybe. Within these sections is where it could be sorted by time on which it was put there. I am aware that there is a filter option but i think this should be the norm rather than a thing you have to go looking for.

My next idea is next page and back page buttons. As of now i am only able to access the first page which is annoying and confusing

I am also suggesting that you be able to change the price of an item without taking it out of the exchange
