World Relos

Why is this place in the game when it has absoulutely no purpose. Can't they make a new quest or storyline to explain why it's there in the first place?

 

That I know it does actually have two purposes, one being the place where Corkus's hidden library is. It also serves as a port for trading judging by it's lore when you discover it. However, I do agree it might need slightly more reason to why it's actually there, but eh.

 

It has an exclusive accessory merchant, and other essential things such as an item identifier and a secret discovery within it. There's other towns that don't have an origin story or much content aswell, so I don't know why you'd complain about Relos in particular. Not every single place ingame needs to be explained from ground up; Many are there just to make the world feel more lively and interesting, and to offer more respawn places, safety, etc.

Desperate metal isn't really in Relos if that's the one we're talking about.

What is it a port for? There's nothing for it to really port to, since Fruma is so isolationist.

 

(rolls eyes and stares numbly at Maex, Pirate Bay, and Skiens Island)

 

Skien's Island is part of the "???" quest, the "Reincarnation" quest and the "Altar of Sanctification".

 

Maex and Pirate Bay are still useless, and as the discovery lore says, Maex was built in celebration of victory in the Dogun War, so I don't think it'l be in the new questlline

 

Maex was build with the initial thought that it will have content in the future, but Relos was build just for the library (so you won't spend more then 30 minutes in there (only if you want to read everything in the library tho)) and that's not much IMO

and Pirate bay is used for 2 quests right now

 

Since when? 1.18?

 

^Unless you meant Pirate Cove, in which case yes there are two quests involved with it. However, I do agree Pirate Bay just kind of exists to be a side thing you can go explore if you want.

 

Guess what. I didn't say anything about those two. No need to explain to me how useless they are because I wasn't even talking about them.
