Throwing Out Old And Not Needed Quest Items

Something that has bothered me about quest items is that when you do /fixquests it sometimes gives old quest items for quests you have already completed, or, in the corrupted village, if you move the unstable ore in your inventory, you must get another, now i have one stuck in my bank for eternity, along with other old/unneeded quest items from /fixquests. my suggestion is that you should be able to throw out quest items IF the quest it is needed for is completed. the gert mask is another example for this, as i doubt people will be going back in AFTER the quest, also the factory helmet and climbing helmet. a suggestion for those is that they could be Untradable instead, and if you dont have one, you could get another from the npc/shopkeeper nearby. for the purified helmet of the legends, you could just bring the 4 items to the npc again to get another, as the top row of my bank is quest helmets... including an extra breathing helmet

 

I could honestly agree with this because I have so many slots that I could use for something else taken up by old quest items that I don't need/don't need to use. It would be very helpful to be able to just toss them out and forget about them.

Step 1: Get a stack of emeralds and the quest item you wanna get rid of
Step 2: Put the quest item in the crafting grid
Step 3: Fill every inventory slot with an emerald
Step 4: Close inventory

 

Technically you can put it in a crafting square in your inventory, fill the rest of your inventory with items (like emeralds) and exit your inventory. And suddenly, the item is gone.

 

I got 13 classes... that means 13x all the items :(

 

Uhh... don’t later quests (such as underice and temple of legends) get rid of the quest items?

 

not all of them

 

What are some exceptions? (Gert mask is one)

 

the helmets from FtL, RoL, Purple and Blue, Gert Mask as you mentioned, Climbing Helmet, and I think there is 1 more

 

Purple and blue helmet is taken away at the end of the quest
FtL and RoL helmets are the same
Also I think there’s one from an iron heart

also i had an old version of sight goggles (clearsight spectacles) atleast i think thats what it was i couldnt see the name of it, i had the ToL helmet, an extra breathing helmet as well

also, after already completing underice, he doesn't take that extra breathing helmet, if i try to use that helmet on another class, it doesn't work. i think this is because of when underwater slightly changed

also why are we arguing about this? this thread is a suggestion for being able to throw them out if they are not needed anymore. also thanks for the information on deleting them with the crafting in your inventory, i didnt know about this before. but of course there are others that still don't

in FtL you get Clearsight Spectacles and in RoL you get Helmet of Shimmering Light

And ye, i forgot you lost the helmet in purple and blue

I think the helmet of legends is also replaced and you get it with fixquests
