A true intellectual

 

I understand. You have few options, all with potentially bad outcomes. However, I think no response or detailed response is better than a non-descript meme as @Stormarend noted. Just saying, we understand your concerns or we're working to balance the leveling process would have been better. This post is that better option, and I'm glad you wrote it. I hope you'll understand others' criticism in the future, even if you don't agree with it.

Also, I don't know if anybody mentioned this. but a lot of players aren't on the forums/ don't regularly engage (Citation needed). Without a shop on the forums, getting rich is literally impossible, so an auction house would allow the wealth to be distributed to those who don't often engage.

When I first started back in 2014 (maybe 2015, idk) I only got to level 30. After finding the forums, I got back into the game, but I didn't really post much and fell out of the loop. After another break, I started posting and got really into the game and here I am. My point is that the social side of Wynn is what keeps it interesting when there isn't any content left. If an auction house existed, newer/non-forum using players would have a way to make mad bank ($$$), and it might give them an "in" into the community on the forums.

I really love what this game has become since I started playing, and I think that an auction house might allow others to feel the same way I do <3

Crafting and profession levels ensure that there is a significant supply of low-level ingredients and resources, allowing lower-leveled players to gain benefits from the market by buying excess gained while leveling from higher-leveled players.

 

Whether new weapons or pots are good or not, the game is not hard anyways. It would be different if you basically needed these in order to beat certain bosses as they’d be too difficult otherwise, but that isn’t the case. The only reason people would use these is to do things quicker and easier, or play Thanos

Once I get my hands on this update I’m going to every secret mob I know of just to see it’s drops. I’m also going to do a lot tinkering with crafting to unlock special recipes and secrets based on item placement. Hopefully I’ll be able to make a good item then brand and sell it until someone else figures out my secret recipe

 

Not trying to be too critical, just viewing the changes as someone who's been playing a game with the changes that will be introduced and just trying to apply what I already know as a prediction. No doubt that the CT will keep in mind the various kinks that will have to be worked out as a result of these changes, and no doubt the player base will also work to incorporate these changes into their playstyle.
But I'm still VERY interested in seeing how the player base will react if there are extremely high-maintenance professions that demand very rare resources. As I said, I'm interested in seeing if a mafia will rise as a result.
