"quest Time Travel" Quest [or Something]

I Really like how the quests by getting revamped are just getting more forward in time.
For example, A confused farmer; you find Drale and tell the farmer he's not a cow,
Tunnel trouble, you help Drale get the cows out. So actually it's a little bit forward in time.
Or It seems to.

It could be cool if there was a quest that made you replay the old quests like... Prison Story. I really liked Prison Story. A Confused farmer, too. Just all the quests that got deleted/MAJORLY revamped to be completely different.

The two quests you mentioned were boring. Instead of replaying them, wait till you level up and get real quests.

For example, those have nothing on underice [Lv.43] and underrice has nothing on cowfusion [Lv.87], and cowfusion has nothing on 1000 Meters Under [Lv.95]

I also agree with the others. I should know, I have done those quests. Spoiler: they succ. They are mostly just "go to place A, talk to B, go to place C, kill D, return to B" in the best cases.
You only like them due to nostalgia.

Also, here's an example of a newer (still really really old) wynn quest, try to see if it sound better.
Part 1) Talk to A in place A to start quest.
Part 2) Go to place B.
Part 3) Watch a short cutscene.
Part 4) Explore a new area. Lots of easter eggs to find in said area.
Part 5) Find the npc in the new area, and talk to it. The npc also tells you some intresting lore, and makes fun jokes.
Part 6) Solve a puzzle, by finding clues across the new area. Some incorrect answers in the puzzle trigger secret dialogue.
Part 7) Boss fight! You can kill the boss not only by fighting the well-designed boss in the well-designed arena, but also by triggering a secret win condition to instakill the boss.
Part 8) Talk to A in place A to end quest.

Sounds a lot better and more complex than the old quests like prison story, correct?
Oh, and please get to level 100 before suggesting anything. It really does make you think "wow new quests such good old quests were garbage" when you find the new quests.
Wynnexavation and reincarnation are the best quests from pre-Gavel.
NOTE: Wynnexavation used lots of puzzles, lore, parkour and hard fights to make it intresting, reincarnation is only good because the areas where you get the 3 items you need to fetch have been reworked to be fun, and getting inside the tomb to start/end the quest is still annoying.

I completly agree with you, the old quests were very good, probably better than SOME of the newer quests. Some people like fetch quests. It's not a crime to. Plus why do the Wynncraft team remove great quests like PS and ACF when some players actually liked them?

 

They remove old quest (Not every old quest) to make another quest.

 

I don't understand why they don't just add new quests and leave the old ones alone :(

 

Leaving the old ones will cause so much trouble:
1- The lore or stories won’t make any sense.
2- You can’t have the same npc do different quests in the same time.
3- The building around the quests.
4- There will be so many quests in one lvl.
5- So that new players don’t get to do boring quests.

Edit: You just have to accept it, if you don’t then try making quests similar to them but better, join the GM and make a quest similar to what you want (A good quest)

Ah that's ok :). It's not really your fault I'm just in a bad mood. What annoyed me was that you said "So that new players don't get to do boring quests", which is a statement and not an opinion. Also you again take a dig at the old quests, by implying the team which made them was bad "join the GM and make a quest similar to what you want (A good quest)" This shows how you think the old quests are not good. Which is again completly opinionated. I think I may have exagerrated a tad when I said you were being HORRIBLE though XD

Look, I don't want to make it seem like I am targeting you but, I am trying to convince you that fetch quests are bad quests.

 

The old quests were cool in the past but know they are just not good (Same goes to builds).
Just like games in general in the past they were amazing but know they are very bad.

 

I don't get why both of you dislike fetch quests :P. I can understand the walking part, but you get to kill monsters on the way and Prison story wasn't that much of a walking simulator. Surely they're better than grinding xp?
