No More Permanent Bans

I have been permanently banned a while back, I don't think there should be permanent bans unless if it's something serious like duping or other forms of glitch abusing. On a server I actually am staff on, there is only permanent bans for selling glitches, glitch abusing, DDoS, and dox. I was banned for flying, which I agree should have been done. There shouldn't be permanent bans for anything that isn't too serious. I suggest that there is only a one month ban for something like this.

I am saying there should only be permanent bans for things that can be harmful to people IRL, and temp bans for everything else.

The thing is, they only give truly permanent bans if you violated their trust/did something harmful to the server/players.
While the latter is covered in your suggestion, the former is a matter of how their ban appeal system works.
Should a moderator provide sufficient evidence demonstrating the guilt of a player, they must demonstrate repentance and remorse for it.
The permanent ban comes from your second offense: you demonstrated to the staff that you cannot be trusted.
Thus, the current system is fine as is.

 

I was permanently banned for using fly hacks, I got pissed and went do the bathroom, then my friend got my alt banned on my laptop, so same IP :c and so it counted as two strikes.

 

Ban evading is still against the rules so I mean it’s not any better or worse if your alt is banned too lmao

The server gave you a second chance and you blew it. That’s your fault. If you wanted to play on this server so badly, you should’ve known better. And, you did the same thing on your alt and got banned again. Instead of trying to fix the problem, you’re trying to get out your punishment.

Everyone I know this might be controversial opinion, but how instead of perma ban we could haver a six month ban. Well, actually you would still get perma banned for doing stuff at Jacky's level, but if you're doing something that isn't really that harmful you would get banned for only six months.
Now you might think that six months it too little of a punishment, but after not playing for even a month people will probably forget that Wynn even exsisted, so it's kind of a mental perma ban, becouse they no longer think about Wynn.

I see what you’re saying, though there’s no reason why he should have been using fly hacks in the first place. He blew his second chance, which shows that he would keep doing it again. Maybe they would never come back after 6 months, but why risk the chance of someone coming back and doing it again after their second chance?
