World Unique Textures For Mythic Weapons [150 Supporters!]

I remember one of these being made a while back, can’t find it now so here I go. If it’s still open then I’ll take this down. So basically I just thought that Mythic Weapons should each have a special texture, since fucking UNIQUE weapons at the same level range share the texture. So just to give them a sense of uniqueness I just thought that maybe mythic weapons should be given special textures. I know Armour shouldn’t have this applied as you can’t get custom armour skins, but maybe just for weapons, like Pure should just be a plain white wand since it’s carved from the meteor, and Divzer should be blackish-yellow, since it contains “dark energies never to be released”. Just use other items like Podzol or Gold Ores for the item.

Warp could be a wooden wand that looks like a question mark, with the wand slowly spiraling in at the top into a circle, and the circle is a nether portal or something

I find this to be a great idea, adding just a bit more magic and uniqueness to mythic items. This would really separate them from all the other weapons.

the thing about warp is that it has one of the best textures in the game, so just change lethe, whimsy, morrowind, depth, cyclone and all those wands.

And yea, personally I kinda thought pure should be changed to look more crystaline. Instead of being the pathetic melee type weapon skin I thought it could mean "pure" as in pure spell, and have some sort of blue crystal related skin on it idk

Not really, they can make items have different textures already and item skins exist, I doubt it would be too difficult

Pure is a no becuz its crafted from a white meteor, so being light blue and crystaline makes no sence.

saying no isnt being toxic, saying no is essentially saying "everything about this is bad, please reconsider" which is actually constructive criticism

 

"Everything is bad please reconsider" is different from "no".

And ok then but my point was that pure looks lame, a WHITE one would work, you could have offered "why not white since it's from a white meteor?"
Instead of addressing the topic I presented (Pure currently looks really lame) you nitpicked a detail to appear as if you replied to my suggestion, namely, the exact texture I suggested.
The idea is to make it look nicer, that's why it's the SUGGESTION thread, to throw out ideas that other people could build off of or add ideas to. If it doesn't make sense then state the reason why and offer a solution instead of a lame flat refusal
