I don't really know if this is possible, but before players are able to comment on threads or post threads, they should be required to take a forum tutorial. In this "tutorial" it will basically show players the basics, such as the SEARCH feature, proper thread organization (indentation and such maybe) and also about necroposting and doubleposting...

Really, I just want players to have to know how to use the search function before making threads so we don't get 20 housing threads, 20 new currency threads, and 5 necromancer class suggestion threads.

If you agree, vote in pool. If not, well then go play Wynncraft, and then come back and vote in the pool. Or don't. I don't really care. Love you, bye bye <3

encourage everybody to go on the forums and post bad unoriginal ideas, so new forumgoers can't help but notice how common they are

 

If this is added, I won't be able to see the housing thread count grow :(

 

Eh, I suggested something similar before by adding housing explicitly to the How to Suggest guide. People who will most likely post a housing thread will just skip the tutorial and post whatever they want anyway. The best way to deal with repetitive threads like housing, necromancers, and new item suggestions is to make a list of existing threads (like me ;) ), post it on their thread, and leave it be. It's basically the equivalent of writing a post-it note, walking up to a person, sticking it on their forehead, and walking away.

True, the only real way to get rid of housing threads once and for all is for Wynncraft to become its own game. But that’s not gonna happen...
