Somewhat Op Weapon Idea

Maybe there could be a weapon called "Thief's Wand/Bow/Spear/Dagger" like this?

 

You can’t stack attack speed to faster than super fast.
TOO MUCH LOOT BONUS, DISCOVERER ONLY HAS LIKE 265 AND HAS SEVERE DOWNSIDES
A max to emeralds from stealing per mob exists
LB doesnt affect stealing
The item team doesn’t accept suggestions

 

It just seems to be Rainmaker but with a ridiculous amount of loot bonus...

This is wayyyy too OP. Just the minimum lootbonus is 300% which is better than Discoverer.

 

I've heard a lot of the logic that goes into making balanced items for Wynncraft. This? Idk... way too much good, not enough bad. Maybe give it a little better damage so you can actually take advantage of the loot bonus, don't make the loot bonus that ludicrously high. This item alone would make mythic hunting almost a joke if it has a potential of being 1300% Loot Bonus.

Here's some negatives you can give it:
- Negative Elemental damage (you could make it a Neutral only weapon, considering theives aren't the most elemental beings around.)

- Negative health regen? Maybe? It really needs a reason for you to NOT hold on to it for the entire game after you get it. Like, yea, you'd have it for Mythic hunting, but not for regular use. It's a Loot Bonus item, give it negatives that make it undesireable for main use.

Changes:

-LOWER THAT LOOT BONUS
- Give it... maybe... 100% - 200% range at MOST and if it were to go higher than Explorer, make it Mythic, and give WORSE DOWNSIDES than Discoverer.

- Attack speed does *not* need to be that high, if I remember correctly... that's higher, or around as high as Cancer. Which, idk... I think that's high enough, let alone for a weapon. Give it like... a max of +5 attack speed. Especially because it's a weapon.

These are just some of my ideas, I could be giving really bad suggestions here, but these would be what I would do in order to help out your item's standing in terms of ever becoming a weapon.

Also, just saying, I think there's a weapon named Thief's knife, which would make this kinda redundant.

There's just one crucial detail you forgot to take into account
You could give this weapon all the negative ids in the entire game besides loot bonus and it would still have a use
Loot. Chests.

 

Ok so.. "Somewhat Op Weapon Idea" If you think that your weapon is op or at least borderline op then why didnt you tweak it before suggesting it? We generally try to avoid powercreeping and thus really arent fans of putting items in game that we know are way too strong from the get go.

^^^^^ and there is a reason why Rainmaker has some crazy ppl building for it. Furthermore there is also Discoverer that has a very similar idea behind it (without being way too op) so even IF we were to make another item with the same gimmick... please compare the power level and think again about whether or not your item is ok.
And finally, we dont accept item suggestions sorry :( Any item suggestions that are made here i guess you could see as a fun thing for people to do that want to get better at item balance but nothing that will actually go into the game.

Remove the attack speed buff and the loot bonus less than 50, tops, and maybe balanced

 

You realize this would only be used to click on chests right? The damage really doesn't matter.
I'd give it a really big health nerf, more negative health regen. Higher level requirements and more skill point requirements. Maybe 80 int, 30 dex and 30 agi or something. Make sure it can't be used in every random build as a secondary weapon.
