World Spectating Wars | 32 Supporters [96.7% Approval]

Simple suggestion: If a territory that you own is being attacked, during the attack if you stand in it you can do /guild spectate and it will teleport you into the war world in spectator mode to watch the war go down. You can also use the command to leave a war you are currently spectating.

In war, spectators are able to chat with one another (it does not show up to the people fighting, as this could be distracting)... They will be in creative flight, or a state similar to how Hypixel manages spectating. They aren't actually in spectator mode, cause this could allow them to view "hidden" features underground and whatnot.

Overall I feel like the ability to observe an attack on your territory could help with forming new strategies for war, and is just fun to do for "insane" war defenses, but is overall meant to be a quality of life change.

+1 Seems like a good qol feature. However, I think this might cause lots of item loss bugs.

 

people could go in a war and do /spec or something, but seems like a nice idea, not totally needed tho

 

Determining whether or not there would be bugs should be left to the developers, as most of us really have no clue what it's ACTUALLY like

Mhm, was meant to be a quality of life thing, not an absolute necessity.

 

Edited the thread to make it slightly more professional, a bit cleaner, and to specify more fluid mechanics... this is also a bump so yeah

 

A few things I personally want to know:

-Are there cooldowns and such on said command? Say if you get hit by a zombie, would you be able to instantly TP to spectate?
-How will you spectate? Will you be in their PoV? Would you be flying? Both?
-Can you duel or trade while in spectator? Or if you're in a duel already, would it auto-end if you go to spectator?
-Will there be an auto-spectator option?
-Spectator chat?

Now here are some suggestion add-alongs:

-Have the spectators do something besides just standing there, or else it'll kinda be pointless and a waste of time, do mini-buffs on one mob or something.

-Small little things that spectators can do while watching the battle.

This is all I can really say, I'm rusty at this but these are my thoughts.

Seems like spectators can block mob arrows and that would just destroy sniper defenses lmao
