World [item Trading] /rent Command

This would be the same as the /trade command, except that after a set period of time the trade would be automatically reversed, even if both players are not in game.

Examples of this could be for a player to rent a Discoverer for getting items from a boss altar, or for a player to rent a mythic to try it out, or even having 2 players swap builds!

Opinions? Let me know below I'm open to feedback

1. The items could be ”stored” in the bank, with a message like ”you didn’t have room in your inventory for the rented items! They are now in your bank”

If bank is full
”You bank was full! To reclaim the rented items, type /reclaim while your inventory has [x] or more empty slots!”

2. For the time of the rent, the items could be ”rented items” that behave like quest items. If you still remove them somehow, a replacement will magically appear.

 

What will happen if my inventory is full when the trade reverses?
What happens if the guy who rented the items throws them away?

Perhaps there could be a dedicated /Rent Inventory command which opens up a new interface to store the items when the trade reverses

 

A possible outcome to the first scenario would be 1: items, like emeralds would be compressed, or removed, or 2: would be put into an ‘overflow chest’ where all items from the trade would be put in, and possibly accessed using the command ‘overflow’, but without the ability to put stuff in, just out.

The second scenario would probably be done in a way where even if the item is thrown away, it would have been saved to a chest or something, so that if that were to happen, you could still get the item back. If the item was given to another player, possibly the item would be taken back like the normal renting.

 

Seems good but it has to work right once added, or it will never be used. If there even is a chance it can bug and destroy an item, people would never use it and just use /trade.
