Bulk Sell

There should be a way to use the merchants to like mass sell. The item merchant can just have items dumped in. So what im im trying to say is 1. The powder merchant should somehow be able to upgrade all the powders in your inventory and 2. The treasure merchant should be able to take all of your treasure at once

 

Add pole and I like the treasure merchant idea!

 

Actually, it won’t work.
As a staff member explained in another post in another thread, you aren’t selling the treasures to the treasure merchant.
You’re actually buying emeralds from him, and the treasure is currency.
So, how would you feel if you were a mage, checked the weapon merchant and misclicked to buy 7 flawless oak wood spears?
How would it work? Say if you misclick at an armor merchant, will you get 27 brillant diamond helmets or will it buy everything once, then go on a second round and so on?
The item system has too many flaws for this.

 

Im not saying this would be for every kind of merchant, but just those two and mabye some others

Also i dont see why it matters that you are buying emeralds, it would still work the same way

 

I think they can't just apply it to a few merchants. Not an expert, but if you change something like that, will probably change them all
Buying emeralds matters, because that means the button would be a "BUY ALL POSSIBLE THINGS" button, meaning if you accidentally click the button in a potion shop, it means you now have around 12 more potions than you need and your inventory is full.
Emeralds aren't a special case for merchants.
For merchants, they are essentially just the most common currency.
But they aren't the only currency.
You don't sell items to get emeralds at the treasure merchants, you buy emeralds from it.
Thus, the emeralds can be replaced with for example potions, and the treasures can be replaced with emeralds for this example.
Example: Potion shop, click "buy all possible stuff". Will it buy everything once, then go for a second round if possible, or just buy the first thing as many times as possible and move to the next when money runs out? What if you don't have enough space, will it drop on the floor? What order are the items bought in, most expensive to least? Left-to-right?

In future cases, please explain how the fact you aren't selling items, but you're using them as currency to buy money doesn't matter after thinking about it for a while.
If it was selling the treasures for money, this rant wouldn't even exist. Because the suggestion would have no problems like this.

Idk why it would have to be with all merchants, and idk if this is even possible but it would only take the treasures from your inventory, not all itens
