World Balance To Skill Reset Scrolls + Tower Of Amnesia

Hey guys,

A friend and i just did the Tower of Amnesia quest and i remembered it to be one of the bigger and more important ones, because you had to travel all around Wynn and collect those damn teleportation scrolls to earn the ability of resetting your skills (which i still consider a really important one, also it costed 1LE that time). But since an update (don't ask me what update) it is possible to reset your skills from the beginning on by paying 2 soul points. This reduced cost of 2 soul points aka 40 ingame minutes aka no physical price is completely fine, but i think the quest Tower of Amnesia and the correlating skill reset scroll merchant isn't anymore. Due to this new resetting system every player can reset his skills whenever he wants without a real cost. But the reset scroll merchant still sells his reset scroll for 384E which is 6EB for an completely redundant item. You also get this completely redundant item as an reward for the long and complex Tower of Amnesia quest, where you had to spend several EBs for buying those teleportation scrolls. It's still a nice quest, but the reward is completely unbalanced. I don't ask you to rework your whole resetting system. But i do ask you, and i do suggest to you to rework the reward and the function of the reward of the Tower of Amnesia questline. Maybe you could just give the player some EB to pay for his investment. Maybe you could come up with a new kind of merchant which is worth the trouble. The connection from the name Tower of Amnesia to the ability of loosing your thoughts about your skill points isn't that strong anymore anyways. So maybe you could also just rename the place and let it have a new function. But i trust you will just find a perfect solution.

I think there should be no reset until you complete tower of amnesia

 

You got my support and bump! Also maybe it could Un-Id Items? Allowing you to completely start over if you keep getting bad stats. Just a suggestion

honestly 6eb for 40 minutes of my life is not a bad deal lol
