Anti-cheat

So recently I got banned from Wynncraft but learned my lesson in return of it and got unbanned. I think Wynncraft should add in an anti-cheat so hackers can't hack or fly. My mod I was testing, the one that got me banned, let me fly with an ease.

So my suggestion is: should Wynncraft add an anticheat?

making good anti cdheats takes a lot of time+ hackers always find a way to hack anyways
best solution is to not add an anti cheat and let the moderators keep doing their job
I have't seen a hacker on wynncraft in game in ages

 

Pretty sure you can get kicked for flying and the mods will get notified. I don't know if that counts as an anti cheat.

 

I don't know how this would work, because there's lots of ways the player can "fly", wether it be through lag or mana regen mage builds.

There is a fly and speed anticheat, but I'm unsure of how it works. I presume it's fairly basic compared to other anticheats, due to its age. Again, like others have said, I've never seen a single fly hacker.

 

Creating an anticheat without false positives is hard.
Creating an anticheat that's compatible with Wynncraft's complex spell and movement system is nightmare mode.
What we have now is fine.
