After all this time, nothing has really changed about horse breeding. I think that breeding horses could use a revamp, though this is only my opinion.
There have been some people saying that this is a not overly good and or a bad idea due to us already having a 50% chance.
WE DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE A 50% CHANCE OF A SUCCESSFUL BREEDING!
That is a common misconception that people have about the horse breeding functions in Wynn

Full information section about horses in Wynncraft can be found here, in the section for horses

    Idea #1:
One idea I had was to decrease breeding chances, making it 15% for a successful breed, 60% chance of getting the same horse breed as you started with, and 25% chance of it going down a tier.
The other part of my idea was to increase the chance of success by 1.5% for each level the horse has, whilst lowering the chance of getting the same tier, as well as raising the chance of getting a lower tier by 0.5%

Ex. Two 1/20 black horses would have a 15% chance of success, a 60% chance of getting the same tier horse and a 25% chance of getting a brown horse
Whilst breeding two 20/20 black horses would have a 45% chance of success, a 20% chance of getting the same tier horse and a 35% chance of getting a brown horse.

If this was implemented into the game, I feel it would make it easier for players to get better horses, but it would require players to put in more time and effort than just going to the horse merchant, buying 20 brown horses and putting them in the crafting grid.

This idea could use some tweaks and improvements, for example, different tier horses could have different decreases or increases like brown horses could have a 1.5% increase per level, while a chestnut horse could be around 0.75% increase per level, but that is for other people to decide, not me.

    Idea 2:
The second idea was more of an extension of a comment that was on the original version of this post
I decided that removing the RNG of horse breeding may actually be helpful for Wynn players so I decided to create a new merchant.
When it comes to the horse merchant located in Ternaves, there are a few empty stables next to him, 2018-04-29_18.32.51.png
And so, I thought that maybe if we added another merchant used for horse breeding, maybe he/she could be located right next to the horse merchant
    2018-04-29_18.50.23.png

Now, this Merchant is named the Horse breeder, and they will gladly take two horses of the same tier, and breed them to make a better horse, for a small cash fee. 2018-04-29_18.50.04.png

When it comes to the GUI, there will be a symbol that says 'Horse Breeder' on the left side, in the middle section there will be a large area with two empty slots where you place your two horses (BOTH of the same tier). On the right-hand side, there will be an option to accept, and an option to cancel.
NOTE: You may only click accept if two horses are inside the breeder.
    2018-04-29_19.36.58.png

To breed 2 horses together, you must pay twice the market value of the horse you are upgrading to, for example: Currently, black horses are sold for around 1le, so with that 1le price being doubled, to breed two brown horses into a black horse, it would cost 2le, with a total of 2le and 48 emerald blocks as the total cost for the horses and the cost of breeding.
Please note the upgrading costs would not change, even if the market price were to somehow change, as in if currently 1/40 white horses sold for 60le on the market and this feature was implemented, it would permanently cost 120le to breed two chestnut horses into a white horse, unless the staff team decided to change that.
    2018-04-29_19.43.31.png
Prices to breed would be something that may need to change, as this clearly ends up being very expensive with the higher tier horses, and the x2 the current market price of a horse could be changed to x1.5 the current market price, thus making it easier for players with less money to still be able to eventually get a better horse. Even if the x2 was changed to x1.5, if the market price for a white horse was 60le, it would still cost 90le to breed two chestnuts into a white horse.

    or... And I think I've mentioned this somewhere else as well;

How about throwing out breeding with RNG alltogether and making a "Breeder" NPC that will take 2 of the same tier and upgrade them, at an appropriately higher cost, of course. Right now with say a 30/30 chestnut that costs 20LE on the market; you could spend 20le or more and not even get a chestnut. You could say that this makes for a half decent money sink, but at the same time one could get a white horse for not even half of what a white horse is worth..

I'm sorry to inform you, but we don't have a 50% chance of a successful breeding.
Currently, We have a constant 20% of success, 50% chance of getting the same tier horse, and a 30% chance of getting a lower tier

afirst idea I actually kinda like!

my luck sucked when I tried to get a chestnut horse and I failed after using 40 LE only to come out with the same, stupid, black horse I had before.

lower the chance will make it more balanced is a okay idea, but I think there should be a small message along with the (we can only hope) new % page that talks about it a little bit.

as for the lowering the higher tier horse, sounds alright to me! (as long as it isn't lowered to much)

    as for part two...

its kind of an "eh" for me.

on one hand, (from my understanding) you get a 100% chance of getting a better horse, on the other hand, (more like 3 other hands) people can no longer trade horses, breeding cost will be insane, and making new prices will be hard as making it as fair(?) as possible (does that make sense? I hope I does)

overall, I think it look actually pretty good, but I don't know how often the content team checks this section, or they even comment on it at all, I sure hope they do, because as it is now, horse breeding SUCKS.
