World Horse Combat

Horse Combat
I really like the idea of being able to do combat on horse back. You would be able to attack and cast spells, just like in ground combat. The downside is that your horse and you will bother take damage, with your horse taking 25%. Horses will have less health than you (obviously) but can still die. This makes it much riskier but also more fun. Spells would from the enemy would first injure then despawn your horse (dismounting you). You could also jump and when your horse landed it would do a ‘kick’, dealing Area of Effect damage.


The title really said it, allow combat on a horse.

 

Pretty sure there's technical issues that prevent this, but otherwise this is a fine idea


Horses dying permanently is also somewhat of an issue, because that could easily happen due to glitches or lag. Some sort of pay-to-revive would be necessary.

yeah, this can pretty easily be abused via items like statue.
