Emerald Storage

A few players and I were talking about needing new ways for holding currency. We came up with the idea to have an emerald specific "bank". Using a shulker box, we store only emeralds, it could say how many it is holding and we can open it to remove E, EB, and/or LE. It was figured that an infinite amount of space is not fun, so there's a chance to upgrade it for a cost. The design for the concept is in the art provided.

I feel that it would be a nuisance to open up a menu and get f***en emeralds. I think it's a cool idea, but not one that could work in wc.

 

You don't need to grab emeralds all the time, WC has the feature to hold EB and spend only the required emeralds. Our other idea is that we can just have the pouch and emeralds will be removed when buying at shop NPCs

Why not use the bank?

 

Travelling back and forth and waste of space and organization

 

you dont need that much storage and this is overpowered

 

I've never really have trouble with storing emeralds.

 

With the new bank update there isn't much issue, but having something automatically store stuff is nice :_:

 

Yeah it's just where do you stop with the automation? With these types of things implemented it could lead to boxes to put your legendary items, your quest items, junk items, etc. until your bank is useless

 

I mean honestly, the multiple pages in the bank plus the ability to compact emeralds into more valuable forms(EB to LE, etc.) makes storinf currency pretty easy. I just reserve a page in my bank for emeralds.

 

A whole page? r u like Ado (bless his soul) who has enough stacks to fill a bank page? otherwise why would u need a whole page :/
